Firstly, an apology is needed for the week of missing a podcast. I was beside myself with self-hate, due to the failure of this podcast. Vanessa is a wonderful human living in Geneva in Switzerland, a TikTok creator with a large following, so the pressure was definitely on. I failed, it seemed, the internet kept dropping out frustrating both of us, my mind kept going blank, the zoom interview video was not something I am comfortable with. Vanessa was recovering from a cold and bless her heart soldiered on; however, the recording is fragmented and while it holds snippets of useful information I was horrified at the result. However, I have decided to publish it anyway, mistakes are needed for learning, right? This is a podcast for everyone who has faltered in themselves and in moments when outside factors have conspired to destroy. It's an opportunity to connect it to the chaos of 2023 and the potential for change stepping into 2024. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the reactive nature of my mind and how effectual outside elements can disturb me, plunging me into a depressive episode and how I climb out of those. Everything I could do was done and there is a lack of structure caused by the internet, completely out of my control, and new awareness has been achieved, so, please listen with an open mind, I stand behind it with pride of resilience and fortitude, enjoy.
