Damon Fisch, a practicing attorney since 2002, has concentrated on real estate transactions since he started as a real estate paralegal in 1996. Damon has closed countless real estate transactions for clients, both residential and commercial. In addition to transactions, Damon has extensive real estate litigation experience. He has litigated the following issues: eminent domain, title insurance defense, mechanics lien, mortgage rescue fraud, forcible entry and detainer, real estate transaction litigation, foreclosure, and breach of contract. Prior to starting his own firm, Damon was an associate with Helm & Wagner in Naperville, IL, where he was a member of the litigation team that attained a $31 million jury verdict for its defendant property owner, the largest jury award in Illinois eminent domain litigation history. Damon also acted as Vice-President Litigation Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company representing the company and its insured clients before forming the firm of Hartnett Fisch in 2012, which ultimately transitioned to the current Law Office of Damon M. Fisch, P.C.
