The Willard City Coun­cil approved zoning amend­ments Wednesday that set a firm 25-foot height limit for detached accessory build­ings, maintain a 35-foot cap for primary homes and clari­fy how agricultural conserva­tion easements apply to larg­er residential lots. The changes update di­mensional standards govern­ing height, setbacks and lot coverage and refine language allowing property owners with parcels larger than one acre to preserve part of their land for agricultural use while developing the remain­der.
