Young Royals

Welcome to today's episode of Queerly Popular! Today we are going to talk about the Netflix show Young Royals which is about a Swedish prince who meets and falls in love with a commoner at an elite boarding school. The show premiered in 2021 and the finale aired on March 18, 2024. Warning, this is one of the longer episodes at almost 80 minutes, so be prepared for that. And if you haven't seen the third season, don't listen because I do talk about that season. I talk about the plot, keeping that part as simple as possible (you try summarizing 3 seasons in 20 minutes and see how you do!). Then I make a couple of general observations, talk about the 5 main characters, and then end with a few more observations about the show in general and not the plot or characters. The tweet came out 1 hour after the finale aired, which meant they watched it right away and spoiled the ending for people, like me, who hadn't had the chance to watch yet. Don't do this please.
