Your genetics aren't the problem. You are. No excuses! | Kevin Brewer | Rise Again From The Struggle

from Rise Again From The Struggle · host Kevin Brewer

Your genetics predisposed you to conditions, but your habits are what brings them forward. Diabetes runs in my family. Obesity runs in my family. Cancer runs in my family. I have several relatives with these conditions. I was on that path, too. How did I ditch the meds? I changed my habits. I stopped listening to doctors. I started doing things healthy people did. I LEARNED FROM MY MISTAKES! Because of this, I was able to lose weight and keep it off. I got off all of my medications for heartburn, pain, and anti rheumatic meds. I also stopped trying to find ways to still eat the things that got me in the bad health and focused on the things that led to food health. If you can't see yourself dropping something... they call that an addiction. I'm just saying. And the "everything in moderation" group... well, define moderation. I'll wait. And what if you can't stop at that point? Then what? So what's your decision? Addiction or health? You CAN learn to break free and not obsess over your past addictions. Are you willing? Let's talk. I've done it and can teach you if you're ready. No excuses! Kevin Brewer Rise Again From The Struggle
