Der Bundestag will am Freitag über zwei gesellschaftliche Reformen abstimmen: das Selbstbestimmungsgesetz und eine Änderung des Namensrechts. Damit will die Ampelkoalition – zumindest teilweise – ihr Antrittsversprechen einlösen, Deutschlands Gesellschaft- und Familienrecht zu modernisieren. Welche Vorhaben dagegen auf der Strecke geblieben sind, darüber spricht Lisa Caspari, Redakteurin für Innenpolitik bei ZEIT ONLINE, im Podcast. Das oberste Gericht des US-Bundesstaats Arizona hat ein 160 Jahre altes Gesetz gegen Schwangerschaftsabbrüche wieder für gültig erklärt. Dieses sieht unter anderem eine Freiheitsstrafe von bis zu fünf Jahren für Ärztinnen und Ärzte vor, die einen Abbruch vornehmen.
