EP. 20: Building on the Rock
In this episode, we talk about what it really means to build your life on the solid foundation of Christ. We unpack how one-on-one discipleship and “life on life” relationships can transform student-athletes far beyond the field. We share how Jesus invites us to come to Him, weary and broken, and walk through what it looks like to actually hear God’s voice in the middle of all the noise. We also dig into why faithfulness matters more than being “the best,” and how loving others both inside and outside the church flows from remaining in Christ’s love. We tell real stories, from baptisms on Mountaineer Field to the Samaritan woman at the well, that show what happens when people encounter Jesus and let Him rebuild their foundation.

EP. 19: The God Who Restores with Brian Wilson
In this episode, we’re joined by Brian Wilson, pastor, father of WVU golfer and FCA leader Kaleb Wilson, and the first parent of an athlete to join the podcast. Brian shares honestly about the journey of raising a college athlete, the tension of wanting success for your child, and how easy it can be to let performance become the focus instead of the relationship. Through golf, something he once couldn’t stand, God ended up restoring not only family relationships but also his perspective as a father.Looking at Joel 2 and the promise that God can “restore the years the locusts have eaten,” we talk about regret, redemption, and the beauty of watching God give back what feels lost. This conversation is a powerful reminder for parents and athletes alike: your identity is never found in sport, achievement, or performance, but in Christ. Whether you’re sending your child off to college, chasing a dream, or learning how to let go and trust God, this episode points back to the faithfulness of a God who restores what matters most.

EP. 18: From Coveting to Contentment
In this episode, we finish our Ten Commandments series by looking at the final commandment: do not covet. We talk about how comparison, jealousy, and the desire for more can quietly take root in our hearts, especially in athletics, where it’s easy to want someone else’s position, success, or recognition. Through Scripture in James 1, 1 Timothy 6, Philippians 4, and Psalm 23, we unpack how coveting often leads to anger, bitterness, and broken relationships, while contentment leads us back to trust in God. This conversation is a reminder that true peace comes when we stop chasing what isn’t ours and start believing that if the Lord is our Shepherd, we truly lack nothing.

EP. 17: It Is Finished
In this Easter Sunday episode, we reflect on why the resurrection is the very center of our faith, because without it, everything else falls apart. As Paul writes in Corinthians, if Christ was not raised, our faith would be in vain. We walk through Holy Week together from the triumphal entry and the Last Supper to Gethsemane, the trials, the cross, and ultimately the empty tomb looking at the obedience of Jesus even unto death and the weight of Him bearing the sin of the world. We talk about the pain of the crucifixion, the momentary separation from the Father, and the beauty of Jesus declaring, “It is finished.” We also share how these truths showed up right here on campus through Bible study with the football team and coaches diving into Matthew 27 together. This episode is a reminder that Easter isn’t just a story, it’s the reason we have hope, new life, and the invitation to fully surrender to Christ as Lord and Savior.

EP. 16: When God is Enough
In this episode, we reflect on what it means to truly believe that God is enough and that in Him, we are enough. Looking at 2 Timothy 3:16–17, we unpack how Scripture teaches, rebukes, corrects, and trains us to stay on the path God has for us. We also revisit the heart behind the commandments, recognizing that when God is our Father and Provider, we don’t need to take what isn’t ours, and when He is our Protector, we don’t need to lie to get ahead. This episode challenges us to move beyond relying on others’ faith and step into a personal, daily relationship with God, rooted in His Word and led by His Spirit.

EP. 14: Truth
In this episode, we look at the command “You shall not steal” and the deeper issue beneath it, contentment and trust. Is stealing only about what we can get away with, or the excuses we justify in our hearts? Through 1 Thessalonians 4 and Philippians 4:10–23, we unpack the mindset of “I need it, they don’t” and how God calls us to live with integrity, gratitude, and trust that He will provide what we truly need. When we believe God is enough, we stop grasping for what isn’t ours.

EP. 13: Faithfulness
In this episode, we turn to Exodus 20:14 and unpack what biblical faithfulness really means. Looking at 1 Corinthians 6:12–20 and 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5, we talk about purity, integrity, and honoring God with our bodies. In a culture that often separates faith from relationships, this conversation challenges us to see that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that true faithfulness begins in the heart.
