Yahweh has spoken but they are also fully engaged in an R&R (Reconciliation & Restoration) Mission embracing all of creation by means of 3 profound movements.

If something is not broke, don't fix it. Why would Yahweh think any differently. His intricately designed creation was perfect and, although it was yet to be tested, the universe's perpetual perfect existence for for everything in it, both spiritual and physical was his original plan.

Yahweh provided an utopian spiritual and material universe for the beings they created out of love. However, they preferred their own ideas for managing their worlds, ideas not according to Yahweh's script. So, now what? Yahweh's default option.

Having vanquished the coup attempts of his beloved creatures he must now decide what to do with these renegades. Will they all be treated the same or are there mitigating circumstances that factor into his judgment regarding their sentence. Let’s see….

Podcast #5 dealt with Yahweh's unavoidable choice to face the consequences of his endowed creature's rebellion and his decision to deal with spirit beings and material beings differently. But how did he find himself in this burdensome situation, especially regarding human beings following Lucifer's revolt. This episode deals with the truth of Yahweh's created intent as described in Genesis 1.

Human Beings, no match for the Serpent, become dichotomist image bearers, good and evil. Created to be like Yahweh, Adam and Eve succumb to Satan's wiles.

Of all the possibilities Yahweh has at his command for responding to Adam and Eve's ignorant submission to Satan's gaslighting, he chooses curses and blessings.

We have been talking a lot about Yahweh's Mission, his ongoing plan of reconciliation and restoration for the universe but, who exactly is Yahweh? Is he a person and if so, what kind of characteristics does he possess? What makes Yahweh unique among all the gods, or higher powers human beings are so fond of trying to get in touch with?

Podcast #10 continues to explore who Yahweh is. What primary characteristics of his personality should we be aware of in addition to those mentioned in Podcast 9. After all, we should know more about his personality profile if we are to understand why and how he can accomplish his mission to reconcile and restore all creation to himself, a creation that is so bent on self-destruction apart from his intervention.

Yahweh, the God of the covenants - is unlike anyone in the universe on many levels. Of his many distinguishing features is his essential beingness. A hint as to his complex being of essential unity is how he made Adam and Eve in his image as a union, a marriage of two persons, two in one.

Yahweh's complex being is filled with love and longing to rescue and restore all creation and humanity from sin and its consequence of death and damnation. But many humans refuse to recognize that they need rescuing and refuse to use the word, "sin" to refer to their thoughts and actions. Why? Is it such a stretch of the imagination to honestly conclude that humans are basically evil? Hummmmmm. Let's take a look at the facts.

Human nature, as covered in our last podcast, degenerated into a deepening darkness, threatening to defy Yahweh's offer of reconciliation and restoration. Yahweh contemplates his next move that needed to conform to his own nature of justice and mercy while confronting humanity's defiance and desperate need for help. What will Yahweh choose to do?

Following Yahweh's regret over making human beings due to their bent / wicked nature and his subsequent judgement and mercy displayed in the food of Noah's day, Yahweh is once again confronted with human arrogance at the site of the Tower of Babel. It's time for Yahweh to once again, INSIST of his design for the completion of his Mission to reconcile and restore humanity to himself so we can be who we were created to be.

Yahweh's mission to reconcile and restore all creation to be in him, like him and with him was and is a master plan, intentionally designed from beginning to end. In order to help us trust that he will in fact accomplish his plan, his way, he gave us hints or foreshadows throughout history of what his master plan would entail and how it would unfold. This podcast points out a few of these glimpses into the future Yahweh dropped along the way in ages past, during the stages of his Mission we have covered in the opening chapters of Genesis.

Yahweh changes tactics to advance his Mission forward. Instead of waiting for humanity to come to him, he takes the initiative and comes to us. This time our representatives upholding the future of Yahweh's plan for humanity are an old married couple with whom Yahweh makes a generous agreement that will change the course of our hope for restoration and renewal forever.

Yahweh introduced themselves to Abraham who was enabled to listen and embrace the promises Yahweh made to him and his descendants, both physical and spiritual descendants as these covenants would play out through time to embrace people of faith from all nations.

The covenant promises Yahweh gave to Abraham could not be fulfilled until Abraham and Sarah's line was established by the birth of their descendant. After this miraculous birth occurred, Yahweh unexpectantly tested Abraham and Sarah's faith in a most unexpected way. If they did not pass the test, would Yahweh take that as a sign that the covenant between them and Abraham was nullified?

Abraham is human being's representative of an Old Testament covenant that has merged with the Messianic covenant through Jesus, human being's New Covenant covenant. Inclusion in these merged covenants which are necessary for salvation is summed up in one word, FAITH. Faith in what? This podcast answers this question.

Yahweh knows that humans are detached from spiritual reality so from time to time he shows himself in various forms at critical times in the progression of his Mission to remind and refresh human beings that they have reason to hope that reconciliation and restoration through Yahweh is on track for success.

Yahweh left lots of clues throughout history about how he planned to complete his mission. Some of these clues are called "Types". Specifically, types that describe, foreshadow, the person and work of the Messiah, Jesus. This episode references a few typologies from Genesis 1-22.

Yahweh established a covenant with Abraham and Sarah (see previous 3 podcasts) and Yahweh passed those covenant promises on the their only son, Isaac. But Isaac and his wife Rebekah had twin sons. Which of the two would inherit the covenant promises and responsibilities? What criteria would Yahweh use to choose between the two?

Yahweh's unusual choice of Jacob as the inheritor of Abraham's covenant promises unfolds through treachery and betrayal. Sibling rivalry and death threats cannot derail Yahweh's missional plan to rescue humanity from themselves. Yahweh meets Jacob to reassure him of his critical role in furthering Yahweh's goals through dreams, wrestling matches, name changes and death bed blessings. Despite Jacob's struggles against humans and Yahweh himself, God's Mission moves steadily onward.

Through out the book of Genesis, God uses a very generic title for himself, leaving it up to human beings to get to know him based on his words and actions without knowing his name. In the early chapters of the book of Genesis he gets personal by revealing his true name, I AM. What that name means conveys Yahweh's personal traits meant to draw us close to him so we can become like him.

Having finally introduced himself to Moses and the enslaved Hebrews in Egypt by sharing with them his personal name, Yahweh makes himself known to the world community. So that no one confuses his status among the many gods of the world, he confronts and humiliates the great gods of Egypt, elevating himself in the eyes of that part of the world as the God above all gods, in a great battle between Yahweh and the spiritual powers of Egypt.

Yahweh’s grand entrance onto the world stage was marked by a statement of his might and mercy as he overthrew the ancient gods of Egypt and redeemed his people from centuries of slavery. In this episode he displays his mastery over life and death while using the first Passover ritual to unveil another glimpse into his ongoing mission to reconcile and restore all creation to himself through his Messianic self.

Ancient Israel, freed from Egyptian oppression, meets with Yahweh, their redeemer. Yahweh instructs Moses in how to lead a sacrificial ritual that will bind the people into a covenant relationship with them, conditional upon both parties keeping their promises to each other. This covenant is known as the Old Covenant or Old Testament. The ritual itself, however, gives us additional insight into Yahweh's Missional objective that would unfold centuries later in a covenant that would replace the Old Covenant with a New one, the New Testament.

The Mosaic Covenant, commonly known as the Old Testament, revolves around Yahweh's commitment to be a God to his chosen people and his people to obligate themselves to follow his laws. These laws consists of Moral, Social and Ceremonial Laws. In this podcast we will define these categories, give a few examples of laws therein and state whether or not they are still in effect during Yahweh's New Covenant era established by the person and work of his covenant representative who replaced Moses and the Old Covenant, namely, Jesus the Messiah.

Is it true that "All You Need Is Love"? Well, it depends on what kind of Love you are talking about and who the object of your love is. Old and New Testaments agree that Love is all you need if you Love Yahweh, Father, Son and Holy Spirit with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

Yahweh's Social Laws, based his command to love our neighbors as ourselves, can be organized into 3 main categories. 1. Caring for the disadvantaged, the poor, fatherless, widows and foreigners. 2. Maintaining Justice for all in the courts 3. Defending the Personal and Property rights of others. This podcast quotes from the Mosaic Covenant giving examples of these social laws that are still in effect in Yahweh's New Messianic Covenant era today.

The Old Testament Mosaic Ceremonial encompassed many aspects of ancient Israel’s life. A very significant part of their ceremonial law revolved around their worship at the Tabernacle. This podcast gives an overview of some of the ceremonies conducted by priests and worshippers at the ancient tabernacle and how these Old Mosaic Covenant ceremonies symbolically foreshadowed their fulfillment in the New Messianic Covenant realities currently in effect today through Yahweh the Son, Jesus.

When the ancient Israelites brought offerings to the tabernacle on their journey from Mount Sinai to the land Yahweh promised to give them on the East side of the Mediterranean sea (as long as they remained faithful to him), they came to offer sin, guilt, and fellowship offerings to Yahweh. These various offerings were meant, in most cases, to absolve the worshipper of sin and guilt. But on what basis was Yahweh willing to forgive them? On the basis of an animal sacrifice or on the basis of something or someone much more significant to Yahweh?
