This week, we began our discussion on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Jesus called his first disciples to follow Him and become fishers of men. We see three pillars that are essential for discipleship to Jesus: Abiding, obeying, and becoming. 

This week, we continued our series on Life Together. Looking at Philippians 2 and Hebrews 10, we discussed four values that are fundamental to our spiritual family: Confrontation, honor, accountability, and purity. We do not commit to each other because people are perfect, we commit because Jesus is worthy, and love is how Christ is formed among us.

This week, we discussed the difference between barriers and boundaries, and God's desire for us to share life together in a deep way. 

This week, we continued looking at Acts 2 and discussed our community value for sharing life together. Sharing life is less about adding more to our lives, but simply inviting people into the things we already do. This creates natural opportunities for connection, relationship, and discipleship. 

This week we finished our discussion on church rhythms by looking at Acts 2, James 3, and by establishing five rhythms we are committing to as a community: Word, Worship, Prayer, fasting, and feasting.

This week we continued talking about the rhythms of the early church, focusing on how we can actually live those out together in our own community. We aim to follow Jesus together by sharing life and spiritual practices like fasting, feasting, worship, reading scripture, sabbath, and praying together.   

This week, we followed up and debriefed our conversation from last week, where we considered rhythms of the early New Testament church and the importance of gathering together as believers.

This week, we followed up on our conversation from last week about unintentional offense by looking at 1 John and the biblical call to love one another. 

For the last few weeks, we have taken time every week to pray together as small groups on Sunday mornings. This week, we took time to hear from each other about how God is answering our prayers. After a time of prayer, Brad led a discussion on forgiveness, guarding our heart's against offense, and fostering unity within the Body of Christ. 

This week, we took time to listen to what the Lord has been speaking to each of us about ourselves, our families, and our church community. 

This week, we spent some time going through 1 & 2 Peter, and discussed what's ahead in 2026 for our church community. 

This week we continued our Advent reflections by focusing on the light and joy that Christ brought into the world. 

This week, we continued celebrating Advent by focusing on the peace of Christ. 

This week, we began our advent series, focusing and reflecting on the hope of Christ's return and our personal hopes for the coming year. 

This week, Brad gave some updates on what is next for our church community. 

This week, we continued our discussion on the role of leadership in the church by contrasting Shepherds and hirelings, as Jesus did in John 10. This is our last week discussing Biblical Leadership. Next week, November 16, we will conclude our series with a time of prayer, consecration, and a potluck.
