Pastor Josh Williams joins us in episode 9 to talk through pastoral encouragements for guys in all stages and phases of life. We speak to single guys, married men, and married men with kids and hit on the unique challenges of each stage and give some thoughts that will bring courage and hope.

In episode 5 Connor and Spencer discuss living on mission, sharing our lives and the gospel with people who don't know Jesus yet, and how discipleship is not just a one time event but rather a long-term mindset. Again and again we're seeing it take years for people to come to Christ and they do so in the context of Christian community. We bring in Josh Williams, pastor of Restoration Hope Church in West St. Paul, and talk about God as our Heavenly Father. We hear Josh's story of growing up without a father in his life, coming to faith in his teens, and now being a father himself. Join us for some great news: God is a father to those without one, his gospel heals us from our dad wounds, and he gives us the joyful gift of being dads ourselves. 

In our third episode we bring on Tyler Leeper and talk through how the gospel can impact and empower our vocations. Whether it be through building relationships, loving those God has put in our jobs, embodying the gospel, or allowing the Spirit to use our work for his glory and the good of others, the gospel has a lot to do with  our 9-5. 

In our second episode of this new podcast for the men of Hiawatha Church, Pastors Chris and Spencer talk about the state of porn in the world and in our church. They discuss the culture we live in, the pastoral advice they give regularly, and the hope we have in the gospel. The world says "Be strong and be worthy." However the gospel tells us we fight against lust and sin not with our own strength but rather in our weakness we turn to the one who has overcome sin, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

In our first episode of this new podcast for the men of Hiawatha Church, Connor and Spencer look at Genesis 1 and 2 and unpack the goodness of God creating us as males. This truth can give us encouragement, help us understand our identities, and lead to thankfulness rather than pride or sheepishness.
