Biblical Parenting features video lessons, discussions, and Q&A to assist today's parents in raising their children to find God and to think morally.

Lesson 1 - God's Perspective on Parenting Our children belong to God, and Scripture is our ultimate guide in raising them. As parents, we’re called to train our children in righteousness, not based on culture or personal habits, but on God’s truth (2 Tim. 3:16–17; Rom. 12:2). God desires restored relationships between parents and children (Mal. 4:6; Luke 1:17), and this starts at home—by loving God, living out our faith, and teaching our children daily.

Lesson 2 - Train Up a Child In the following lesson, we will begin discussing the process of training a child in the way they should go. Training is a marathon not a sprint. We will explore teaching our children through role-play and age appropriate training times, as well as intentionally planning and persevering in training our children to develop godly character.

Lesson 3 - The Importance of Words In the following lesson, we will explore the significance of the words we choose. Their capacity to foster hope is profound. They inspire vision and shape our child’s overall self-perception. This lesson aims to transform your language to better reflect our Heavenly Father’s parenting of us.

Lesson 4 - Drawing Out the Heart- Biblical Principles Lesson 4 includes two videos. The first covers the biblical foundation for addressing sin and conflict. The second demonstrates the practical application of those biblical principles. This is a challenging lesson, in part because so few of us were trained on biblical conflict resolution. Watch these videos as much as you need. Lesson outlines and other helpful materials have been included below.

Lesson 5 - Restoring Relationships In Lesson 5, we discuss the difference between worldly and godly sorrow, and how to help your child move from one to the other. We also cover the process for seeking and offering forgiveness, as well as making things right as part of the process of repentance.

Lesson 6- Consequences & Freedoms In Lesson 6, we discuss the biblical principle of discipline as it pertains to the training of our children. We also cover the proper use of consequences and the concept of earning privileges and freedoms. These are part of the maturation process.
