The Plagues Explained
Send us Fan MailWe trace how the plagues of Egypt expose Pharaoh’s role, Egypt’s gods, and God’s long game of mercy, order, and revelation. We follow the patterns Moses writes into Exodus and connect the plagues to creation, the Red Sea, and Israel learning to trust the LORD. • Pharaoh as intermediary between people and gods • Ma’at as Egypt’s obsession with harmony and no chaos • Egyptian temples, magic, and insect protection practices • “Let My People Go” as a five-cycle progression • plagues increasing in severity from annoyance to collapse • Nile-to-blood as a targeted wake-up shot and possible natural mechanism • bargaining dynamics behind “tomorrow” for the frogs • plague groupings and repeated literary signals in Exodus • Pharaoh hardening his own heart versus God strengthening it • Aaron, God, Moses as conduits across the plagues • “God Of The Hebrews” as a strategic introduction of identity • “all” as ancient hyperbole and why livestock still appear later • darkness as a creation echo and a blow to Pharaoh’s light claims • Red Sea crossing, east wind obedience, and dry land detail • Israel fearing the LORD and believing God and Moses • preview of Mount Sinai as the next major step Please, if you know a Bible nut and an absolute real Bible digger that might benefit from this, please send them to Biblically Wired.

What Could Unity Unlock In The Church
Send us Fan MailWe track Joseph’s story through themes that prepare us for Mount Sinai, showing how God uses dreams, famine, and even family dysfunction to keep His covenant promises moving. We also wrestle with unity, seeing how God forms a divided people into one and what that means for the body of Christ today. • the road from Genesis themes to Mount Sinai clarity • dreams in the ancient world and why paired dreams signal certainty • Jacob’s favoritism and the coat as nobility • the brothers’ betrayal and the meaning of eating together • using holy acts for evil and what that reveals about hardened hearts • God’s presence with Joseph outside the promised land • famine as a tool that moves people and softens hearts toward God • prison as a political holding place and the cupbearer and baker dreams • Pharaoh’s dreams and Joseph’s plan for seven years plenty and famine • Joseph as a strong type of Christ and why it matters • unity across the twelve and a link to Acts 1 and Pentecost • New Testament roots in Torah and staying grounded as we near Sinai Let’s be that light and let’s get grounded.

Faith Under Fire Genesis 22
Send us Fan MailWe walk through Genesis 22 with Abraham and Isaac and slow down to see what the text actually says about love, worship, obedience, and God’s provision. We also challenge a work-based mindset by anchoring our confidence in freedom in Christ and the God who provides the sacrifice. • work-based guilt and spiritual pressure contrasted with freedom in Christ from Galatians 5 • Genesis 22 set-up and why God calls this a test • the first biblical use of love as costly father-son sacrifice • the first biblical use of worship as bowing down and yielding our will • why Isaac is likely a young man and what that implies about willing obedience • “God will provide” as the core thread of sacrifice and surrender • the angel of the LORD and the case for a Christ-centered reading • substitutionary sacrifice shown through the ram in the thicket • why a ram matters and how it can point to power, authority, and unknown sins • Mount Moriah, the future temple site, and the larger redemption storyline • John 10 and Jesus laying down His life by authority • preview of Joseph and how typology helps us read Genesis

Abraham’s Covenant And The Cross
Send us Fan MailWe trace Genesis 15 as the backbone of grace, where God walks the blood path alone and anchors salvation in his promise. Cloud and fire link Abraham to Exodus and the cross, turning an ancient rite into a living hope for today.• God as Abram’s shield and what that means now• How ancient covenants work and why blood matters• Why Abram sleeps while God signs alone• Prophecy of four hundred years and divine justice• Smoke and fire as God’s consistent signature• Land boundaries and many nations from Abraham• Israel’s vocation to bless the world• Assurance of salvation without works grounded in Genesis 15Give Biblically Wired a little shout out to somebody you love and let them partner with us as we learn together

S3 E15 How Genesis 15 Shows Salvation By Faith Alone
Send us Fan MailWe trace Genesis 15 to show how God steadies fear, names Himself Sovereign Lord, and credits faith as righteousness. From stars to circumcision debates, we follow the promise that precedes performance and sets the stage for the cross.• why “I am your shield” reframes fear and reward • how refusing Sodom’s spoils clarifies loyalty • why Adonai Yahweh signals covenant authority • what the stars teach about identity and mission • belief credited as righteousness before any sign • Paul’s case against works as a ticket to grace • assurance in John 10 and Romans 4 • blessings of obedience without boasting in works • preview of the covenant’s direct link to the crossWe really would love a shout out because I just want to spread this around
-
76
S3 E14 God Speaks To Abram, And Everything Changes
Send us Fan MailWe trace the arc from Noah and Babel to Abram’s call and show how God’s command and promise form a pattern for trust, identity, and mission. Ur’s sophistication, Abram’s likely monotheism, and the symbolism of crossing water connect Genesis to discipleship and baptism today.• framing God as the main character• harm of taking Scripture out of context• Noah’s stumble and righteous imperfection• nations from Shem, Ham, and Japheth• Babel’s ambition and language scattering• why genealogies compress generations• shock of a speaking God calling Abram• choosing a barren couple to launch a nation• Ur as advanced city and weight of “go”• evidence Abram recognized the Creator• leave country, kin, and father’s house• nomadic fears met by divine promises• blessing for all families, not isolation• numbers, triads, and mercy motifs• Great Commission as echo of Genesis 12• Euphrates crossing and roots of baptism• Abraham as friend of God and model of loyaltyKeep your chin up. God is good. Buckle up for Genesis 15 next time

S3 E13 Why God Cannot Sin And Why It Matters
Send us Fan MailWe trace a clear line from God’s holiness to our hope, challenging the idea that calling God unable to sin limits Him. John’s eyewitness testimony, the meaning of covenants, and the rainbow as a warrior’s bow reveal why divine light steadies a fearful heart.• God is light with no darkness at all• Why “God cannot sin” safeguards trust• Fear-based theology and its harms• 1 John on confession, fellowship, and truth• The Spirit’s nature never goes dark• Covenants versus contracts and their signs• The rainbow as God’s bow faced away• Hebrew “remember” as action, not recall• Communion as the sign of the new covenant• Anticipating the Abrahamic covenant
