This episode we see Christ giving three (and a half) commandments to His people. First, to partake of the sacrament. Second, to pray always. Third, to always welcome everyone into our communities. This episode, we read as Jesus Christ moves to leave, but is swayed by the Nephites to stay. He then goes on to heal the multitude, call all of the little children unto Him, and pray an incomprehensibly beautiful prayer for the people.
