    Jimmy and Stiggs Watchalong

The Booze Bros dove headfirst into a 16mm neon-drenched, blood-soaked, drug-fueled fever dream nightmare from Joe Begos, presented by Eli Roth. Chaos follows immediately: random Sublime sing-alongs break out, Ben rolls with the CLIT (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back reference locked and loaded*), and the whole watch-along derails in classic Booze Bros fashion.Crack a cold one and brace yourself.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Maximum Overdrive Watch-Along

Grab your popcorn and crank up the AC/DC — the Booze Bros are taking on Maximum Overdrive! In this wild watch-along, they crack jokes through Stephen King’s killer-truck chaos, unpack the legend of his cocaine-fueled directing debut, and gush over their undying love for AC/DC. It’s a hilarious, off-the-rails good time that proves bad movies make for the best times.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Society (1989) Review

This week, we dove into Brian Yuzna’s Society (1989) — the slimy, sleazy, body horror cult classic that left us questioning… well, everything. Ben watched it for the first time during our earlier watchalong, so naturally, we had to revisit the shunting, crack some jokes, and try to get to the bottom of this... disturbing mess. Spoiler: Ben may never recover.. Is Society a brilliant social satire or just a fever dream with an Oedipus complex, and way too much body-melding? Tune in as we drink up, break it down, and gross ourselves out along the way.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Intruder (1989) Review

Intruder (1989) Review - Aisle Be Damned -Clock in for a graveyard shift at the world’s most dangerous grocery store, where severed limbs pile up, the camera refuses to sit still, and a homicidal maniac swings a decapitated head in one hand while casually eating a sandwich in the other. We dig into Intruder (1989), a slasher packed with inventive kills, wild shots, more body parts than a slaughterhouse. As always, we bring the banter, the breakdowns, and just enough BS to keep things interesting.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Frankenhooker (1990) Review

This week on Booze, Bros, & BS, we dig into the neon sleaze of Frankenhooker—a cult-classic mashup of Frankenstein, Re-Animator, and late-night cable weirdness. We cackle at Jeffrey’s power drill lobotomy in the name of “clear thinking,” his sandwich-pushing enabler of a mom, and the absolutely bonkers idea of Super Crack turning sex workers into human fireworks.Despite its bargain-bin production and amateur sleaze, this flick wins us over with sheer absurdity—and earns a surprisingly high score. It’s unhinged, it’s hilarious, and yes, it’s got exploding hookers shooting sparks like it’s the Fourth of July.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Terminator (1984) Watch-Along

In this pulse-pounding watch-along of *The Terminator* (1984), Mike and Ben fire up the time machine and dive headfirst into James Cameron’s relentless sci-fi classic. Mike kicks things off by expressing his oddly sincere appreciation for Ben’s throat sounds and, in true T-800 fashion, jokingly threatens to follow any listener who doesn’t follow the show. Expect trivia, laughs, and the usual off-the-rails banter as the duo break down cyborg assassins, iconic moments, and the raw intensity that made this film a genre-defining hit. Conan The Barbarian

Sharpen your steel and oil up those muscles, because we went full nerd on this sword-swingin’ classic. In this episode, we dive into the mythic madness of Conan the Barbarian—Arnold's breakout role as a grim, ripped killing machine with a destiny written in blood and heavy metal. Expect deep dives into Robert E. Howard lore, way too much enthusiasm for Basil Poledouris’s god-tier score, and an out-of-nowhere Orgasmo T-Rex quote that derails everything in the best way. Crom laughs at your four winds—and we do too.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Predator (1987)

Arnold’s lighting cigars, we’re taking shots, and the jungle’s about to get a whole lot sweatier. For this watch-along of Predator (1987), we drank every time Dutch sparked up a stogie—and thankfully, that didn’t kill us. If we’d gone with “Every time someone says Mac,” we wouldn’t have made it past the first act. Expect nicotine-fueled commentary, peak '80s action energy, and the usual unfiltered nonsense from the Booze Bros & BS crew.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    The Changeling (1980)

The Changeling (1980)For the 45th anniversary of The Changeling, we dive into one of the most chilling ghost stories ever put to film. We kick things off with an inappropriate Bill Cosby joke (because we can’t help ourselves), then get into George C. Scott’s powerhouse performance, the eerie true story behind the film, and why Martin Scorsese ranked this as one of the scariest movies of all time. Join us as we break down this underrated horror classic with our usual mix of booze, banter, and BS!  Released on March 28, 2025—exactly 45 years after The Changeling first haunted theaters! Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

    Shadow of the Vampire

This time on Booze, Bros, and Bullshit, we’re peeling back the curtain on Shadow of the Vampire—a brilliantly twisted take on the making of Nosferatu (1922). Willem Dafoe delivers an unforgettable, Oscar-nominated performance as Max Schreck, a method actor who might be taking his role a little too seriously… or maybe he’s not acting at all. Meanwhile, John Malkovich is perfectly unhinged as F.W. Murnau, the obsessive director willing to sacrifice anything—and anyone—to achieve cinematic perfection. Nosferatu (2024)

On this episode of Booze, Bros, and Bullshit, we’re sinking our teeth into Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu (2024)—a chilling reimagining of the silent horror classic. With Eggers’ signature atmospheric style and Willem Dafoe’s return to vampire cinema, this gothic nightmare promises haunting visuals, eerie performances, and plenty of shadowy dread. Grab a drink and join us as we dissect Eggers’ take on one of horror’s most legendary monsters, the film’s connections to past versions, and whether it lives up to the hype.Follow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/

Recorded in April of 2024. This time on Booze, Bros, and Bullshit, we’re diving into It Follows—David Robert Mitchell’s eerie, slow-burn horror film that made everyone paranoid about who (or what) was behind them. Starring Maika Monroe, this 2014 supernatural thriller delivers tension, dread, and an unforgettable synth-heavy score by Disasterpiece. The Booze Bros. tell the audience how to make an R.J. MacReady cocktail, and proceed to get a little drunk by the end of the episode. Lots of fun, tentacles, goo, booze, and bullshit on this episode. Black Christmas (1974)

On this special Christmas episode of Booze, Bros, & BS, Ben and Mike watch and discuss the other classic Bob Clark Christmas movie, Black Christmas. Released in 1974, and made in Canada, this film is considered by many to be the first slasher movie. They talk about the siilarity bewtween Black Christmas and John Carpenter's Halloween, and even share a story by Bob Clark about what he told Carpenter when he was asked if he'd considered making a sequel. The movie idea Clark shared with Carpenter turned out to be very similar to the plot of Halloween. The Booze Bros also discuss the controversy surrounding the film's premier on network TV in 1978, and it's eerie similarity to the Ted Bundy murders at that time, which contributed to the governor of Florida sucessfuly having the movie pulled from being shown on NBC in 3 states. Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. They also discuss the recent 50th Anniversary showings of Black Christmas across the US and Canada in Dec of 2024. Finally, the Booze Bros say a heartfelt goodbye to their close friend Sam, who passed away earlier in the month of Dec.   Corrections:Edmund O'Brien was the actor that John Saxon replaced as Lt. Fuller -- When a Stranger Calls was the movie mentioned as ripping off Black Christmas, not Stranger in the House, which was an alternate title of Black Christmas - Warner Bros. changed the title of Black Christmas because they were worried that it would be mistaken for a blackspoitation film. Which were popular at the time. -Find Booze, Bros, & BSOn X: https://x.com/BoozeBrosandBSOn Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/boozebrosandbs.bsky.socialOn Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/boozebrosandbs?igsh=MTJoaTMyOGwzc3hieQ==On Youtube: https://youtube.com/@boozebrosbs?si=yG-UQiCbnYn5l3O7Watch an original scanned 35mm print of Black Christmas with the original mono track here:https://youtu.be/QWhe-Mr71-8?si=ypW1_42g_5Ppr1pGFollow us on Instagram, X, and Bluesky: @BoozeBrosandBSSubscribe on YouTube: Booze Bros & BSYou can also find us on Facebook:https://m.facebook.com/@booze.bros.and.bs.podcast/
