E48: The Porch Light Principal
What do you do when the person you love most is choosing a path that breaks your heart? In this episode of Brewing Faith, we tackle the heavy reality of loving someone who isn't walking with Christ. Drawing from Ezekiel and the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke, we discuss why you can’t carry someone into heaven on your own shoulders and how to protect your own spirit without closing your heart. Whether you are praying for a "wayward son" or navigating a difficult relationship, join us for a conversation on setting godly boundaries, practicing holy stewardship, and keeping the porch light on while you wait for the harvest

E47: Convicting Self Improvement & Disciplined Lifestyles
This episode of Brewing Faith explores the intersection of spiritual maturity and personal discipline, after this past season of life and watching my husband's preparation for an Ironman triathlon... I felt called to share this experience and my own personal interests as a metaphor for the Christian life. I hope this episode challenges you to move past the "comfortable chaos" of laziness and gluttony, often times that reek in our lives and hide within the lack of self-control and a reliance on worldly comforts like media or food—and instead embrace their role as stewards of the Holy Spirit’s temple. By highlighting the importance of being faithful in small daily habits, such as making one's bed or choosing discipline over excuses, this episode emphasizes that physical and mental health are acts of worship and essential components of leaving a lasting godly legacy for the next generation.

E46: Lord, I Want To Love Like You
In a "you do you" society that often mistakes enabling for empathy, we must return to the biblical standard that love does not mean coddling to protect feelings—it means staying firm to protect the soul from evil. Real love, as defined in 1 Corinthians 13:6, does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth; therefore, when we use excuses like "that’s just how they are" to avoid confronting sin, we aren't being gracious—we are enabling the very division that distances our loved ones from God. Just as a parent disciplines a child out of devotion, we owe it to ourselves, our community, and our redeeming Savior to stop the cycle of enabling and start sharing the truth with grace. By recognizing our identity as "new creations" and refusing to watch the "soil" of those around us dry up like the seeds in the Parable of the Sower, we honor the sacrifice of Jesus and lean into the Holy Spirit for the courage to lead others back to the Way, the Truth, and the Life

E45: Agape Love
In This episode, we explore the transformative power of AGAPE LOVE!! This sacrificial, unconditional love that goes much deeper than human emotion and expectation. Drawing from the lens of motherhood and spiritual maturity, we reflect on the raw gravity of Jesus’ choice in the Garden of Gethsemane and the ultimate victory of the Resurrection. Join us as we discuss how this "willful action" of God not only defeats death but sets a new standard for how we love our spouses, our neighbors, and our Creator. It’s a journey from the weight of the cross to the white-as-snow promise of a heart made new.

E44: Even If
What happens when there is a gap between what we know God can do and what He is actually doing in our lives? In this episode of Brewing Faith, we explore the life-changing power of three small words: "Even if not." Drawing from the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:18, I share my personal journey of wrestling with God over my grandma’s healing. For months, I prayed for an earthly miracle, but God has been refining my heart posture to move from demanding an outcome to trusting His character. Sometimes the miracle isn't that the fire goes out, but the faith you hold onto while standing in the middle of it. If you feel like your prayers are hitting a ceiling, join me as we discuss why a "no" or a "not yet" isn't a sign of weak faith, but an invitation into a deeper plan.

E43: Grief Sucks But Love is Greater
One year ago today, my grandma pushed me to start Brewing Faith. Now, on our first anniversary, I find myself in a season I never expected: walking with her through the doors of hospice. In this vulnerable episode, I step away from my planned notes to talk about the "slow burn" of grief and the numbness that often comes with it. We explore one way that I have found comfort within all of these emotions... how to honor the people we love by carrying their mantle forward and sharing the light of Jesus that they inspired within us. Even when the waves of loss feel like they are pulling us under, we find our footing in the promise that heaven offers a restoration far greater than anything on this earth side.

E42: The Dangers Of Listening To A Liar
In this episode of Brewing Faith Coffee and Conversations, we explore the deceptive voices that aim to keep us stagnant and the strategic ways the enemy uses comfort as a trap. We discuss how the "thief of joy" operates by oscillating between telling us we have reached our limit and then shaming us for not doing enough. By looking at Colossians 3:23 and John 10:10, we redefine what it means to be on the mission field, emphasizing that every intentional act in our careers, homes, and daily routines is a form of ministry. This discussion serves as a call to move beyond the safety of the plateau and embrace the refining fire of growth, reminding listeners that God can redeem lost time and transform a messy history into a powerful weapon for his kingdom.

E41: Psalms 91 Reflection
In this episode of Brewing Faith: Coffee and Conversations, we explore the beautiful chapter of Psalm 91. Life often brings seasons of pressure where we feel overwhelmed, "cracked," or simply not at one hundred percent. However, it is often in those very cracks that the goodness of God shines through most clearly. We discuss the transition from viewing Scripture as mere poetry to embracing it as a living promise. Whether you are facing the "terror of the night" or the stresses of the day, there is a permanent dwelling place available to you that offers more than just temporary shelter.

E40: Thank You Jesus For The Blood
We often treat the blood of Jesus as a religious concept rather than a spiritual reality. In this episode of Brewing Faith, we explore the practical application of the blood of the Lamb as our spiritual shield.Isaiah 53:5 tells us that by His stripes, we are healed. This means your restoration isn’t a future "maybe"—it is a finished work. We are discussing how to strike the doorposts of your life and remind the enemy that he has no right to territory bought by the Son of God.Listen in as we reclaim our peace and our health through the authority of the Word.

E39:Kingdom Work Starts At Home
I took a two-week hiatus to pray and wait for what was truly on my heart to share. I did not want to just "check a box"; I wanted to put out content that was actually meaningful.Today on Brewing Faith, we are diving into "Spiritual Housekeeping." We often spend thousands of dollars on security systems and smart locks to protect our physical property, but are we guarding the spiritual atmosphere of our homes? From the entryway to the bedroom, we are exploring why—and how—to intentionally pray over your home, reclaim your peace, and invite the Holy Spirit to be the primary resident.

E38: Get Out of the "Solomon Trap"
How does the wisest man to ever live end up making the most foolish mistakes? This week on Brewing Faith, we explore the life of King Solomon and the dangerous gap between intellectual wisdom and spiritual intimacy. We often pray for Solomon’s discernment, but his story serves as a warning that a gifted mind can easily be used to justify a drifting heart. We unpack how to avoid the "Solomon Trap" by seeking a heart that truly yearns for God’s Word over worldly logic. Instead of just asking for smart answers, we are learning to pray for a holy distaste for anything that grieves the Father. Grab your coffee and join us as we dive into First Kings to discover how to keep our lives fully aligned with God.

E37: Trading Your Goals For God's Plan
Are you caught up in the "New Year, New Me" hype? We all love the excitement of a fresh start and a good resolution (bingo cards, anyone?), but what if we shifted our mentality this year?Instead of asking, "What am I going to do?" what if we asked, "God, what are You going to do with me?".In today’s episode of Brewing Faith, we’re diving into the power of acting obediently and trading our desire for control for God’s perfect direction. It’s time to hand over the reins of our resolutions and see where He leads.

E36: Breakdown to Breakthrough
As 2025 comes to a close, this episode is a moment to pause, reflect, and reframe a difficult year through the lens of faith. What felt like loss, grief, and refining wasn’t punishment, but preparation. Through Scripture and honest reflection, this conversation encourages you to stop dwelling on the past and step into 2026 with expectation. Walk boldly into this year with trust that God is doing a new thing and preparing a season of breakthrough and overflow.
