When Jesus died, hope died along with him. No one was planning to keep this new movement going, because, after all, it seemed Jesus wasn’t who he had claimed to be. You're Not Far - Loophole Religion

From an early age, we learn quickly to look for loopholes in the rules. We try to figure out what we can get away with and still be okay. We tend to take this same mindset into our relationship with God, but it doesn’t work. When we opt for loopholes and workarounds, we find ourselves in a category no one wants to be in: hypocrites. Jesus wants us to move beyond loophole religion. You're Not Far - Flipping the Script

Whether it’s school, sports, or religion, when we focus only on the rules, it can be difficult to remember the overall purpose of something. The Best Relationships - Be Selfless

If we’re honest, we’re all pretty selfish at our core. We want what’s best for us, or for our people, and don’t think much about the effects on others. This isn’t new, it’s been around since… well, people.  Jesus knew this was the case, so he talked about it a lot. His brother James continued talking about it and eventually the apostle Paul gave us some simple advice to understand, but hard advice to follow.  If we can do this... we'll have the BEST Relationships. It's Personal

God knows what you need. He sent Jesus into the world for you, to meet your greatest need. The Christmas story is personal. Here's how to make it your story.

  18. 18

    Toddler King

There's a light that can cut through your doubt, anger, sin, shame, and disappointment with God.  Here's what you need to do to find it.

  19. 17

    Most Wonderful

For many, the Christmas season is complicated. It's a reminder of broken relationships, unmet expectations, and missed loved ones.  But no matter your circumstances, Christmas can also be a reminder of the light that overcomes the darkness.

  20. 16

    Replacing the Exhaust of Busyness

We're all busy. Our schedules are packed with career, family, friends, church, and other responsibilities. Sometimes our days are so full that we don't enjoy anything because we're trying to do everything.    This can drain our tanks and leave us thankless, because we never stop to see the good.    So, where do we start?

  21. 15

    Avoiding the Pit of Greed

Greed is the never ending appetite of "more" that drags us into a muddy pit, draining us of our thanks.  Once there, it takes a lot to get out and can be painful, but we don't have to end up there.  Jesus gives us insight into greed and how to avoid the pit completely.

  22. 14

    The Broken Faucet of Envy

Envy is like a broken faucet.  Dripping thankfulness from the tank of our lives until it gushes out with unthankfulness.  When I only want what you have and don't see what I have, my peace is at stake and I'm left running on an empty tank.

  23. 13

    The Drain of Worry

Worry drains us.  Taking our time, our happiness, our peace and ultimately leaving us thankless because we feel hopeless in life.  Is there a way to find hope, when all hope is lost?

  24. 12

    Running on Empty

In a month known for thankfulness, it’s important to look in the mirror and wonder “Am I thankful? Or am I just participating in acting thankful?”  This is the first step in living life with Full Thanks! Song: "Good Life" used with permission from Mass Anthem

  25. 11

    Comfort Zone

God can redeem, use, and work through our pain.    And when he does, we eventually have the opportunity to comfort others.    People who’ve suffered are uniquely qualified to comfort people who are suffering.  We want comfort, but maybe we're here FOR comfort.

  26. 10

    Believe it or not

Jesus told his followers that unavoidable trials aren’t exceptions; they are the expectation. But they can actually serve a beneficial purpose. Why? Because God can redeem, use, or work through the undeserved, unavoidable, circumstantial things in our lives. But in order for that to happen, something has to happen in us.

  27. 9

    Yes You Can

What do you do when there’s nothing you can do?  When It just is what it is. Challenging circumstances can make us jealous or resentful. They can make us angry with God. They can breed discontentment. But the problem with discontentment is that it can drive you in self-destructive directions that will eventually leave you with regret. So, what is the secret of finding contentment even when times are tough?

  28. 8

In The Meantime part 2 A Purpose and A Promise

Every once in a while, we run into people who are stuck in unchangeable, unalterable, in-the-meantime situations that maintain extraordinary faith despite extraordinarily difficult circumstances.  How do they do it?

  29. 7

In The Meantime part 1 The New Normal

What do we do when we have problems without solutions . . . questions without answers?  During times like these, it's tempting to give in to anger . . . especially anger toward God. It feels like God is absent, apathetic, or angry.  But what if he isn’t?

  30. 6

    Building Resilience through Disturbance

Life disturbance happens and what we do next says something about the hope we have.  Today we challenge ourselves to build resilience through our response to life's disturbances.

  31. 5

Fight For It wk. 2 Building Resilience through Rejection

Everyone faces rejection at some point in their life. How we handle that rejection can either cripple us or make us more resilient. In a critical moment of Jesus life, his heavenly Father reminded him of something that can help all of us walk through the rejection we experience.

  32. 4

Fight For It wk. 1 How to build resilience

Life is full of disturbances. Our ability to bounce back after experiencing a life disturbance is called resilience. In this message, we learn how to use the smaller life disturbances as the building blocks to a resilient life.

  33. 3

Love Well Done wk. 4 The Service Counts

What's makes a love well done? What the secret of the people who have it? What's the magic formula?  They've learned to serve their spouse with what they place in the gaps between expectations and experience. To wrap up this series, we will share a secret from 1 Corinthians 13 that could drastically change your marriage, future marriage or really any relationship.

  34. 2

Love Well Done wk. 3 Cooked To Perfection

What happens after I do? How can a person give their deepest vow to someone and then let that someone become the person they despise most?  In Part 3, we'll attempt solve a common mystery about why we fall out of love and expose the true problem.

  35. 1

Love Well Done wk. 1 The Prep Work

It's never been easier to fall in love and yet it’s never been harder to stay in love. Is it even possible for two people to be happy together forever? Jesus gave us the foundation for a love well done and in this episode we will reveal the simple, yet powerful, principle to prepare you to stay in love for a lifetime.
