Surprised By Jesus: Faithfulness
Glory has a weight to it. Like a rock dropped into water, it has an effect, a weight. Glory also, has FAITHFULNESS accounted to it. All Jesus looks for is faithfulness. Jesus doesn't look for talent or fame, He looks for faithfulness. The King returns and gives authority over cities to those who have been faithful with the gifts (talents) that have been given to them.

The Greatest Words Jesus Ever Heard
The greatest words that Jesus ever heard. What were they, they are connected to the life of Jesus, only found in the book of Mark. We learn to be confident when we learn that Jesus, the Father, loves us. This is how Jesus remained pure in his life, to the enemy's twisting of His vocation. Jesus was the conquerer, because of his fully engaged agreement in the Fathers love.

Surprised by Jesus: Believe
Sin is confining. In reality, we’re too small to make room for Jesus. The good news is that Jesus has made room for us. The Kingdom of God offers wide open spaces. His kingdom is available, open, it’s here. The question is, will you prioritize your life around Jesus or yourself. This is about learning to be a Christian. If we don’t get this, we lose! And God will go to another generation to those who will answer the call. It’s about making the Kingdom of Jesus number one in our lives. Make a decision to rank your affection right. Are you the Christian who just knows somethings about Jesus? Or, do you really believe, and are different because of Jesus?

Surprised by Jesus: Repentance
‘To repent’ is not simply a solitary event where we give up everything out of a sense of obligation to an ethical system. It’s important that we do not remove the apocalyptic or eschatological dimensions from repentance (meaning that our public world has been radically altered by the arrival of Jesus, which is to reject any attempt to privatize repentance as in “it’s just about Jesus and me and my heart”). In other words, we must think of our world in a completely different way. New creation is here. The King has arrived. A new power is in charge. The material world is under radical transformation. To repent is learning how to live in this new world (which has been transformed in an apocalyptic fashion), which means that flourishing in this new world will require a total devotion to the aims and overall lifestyle of Jesus!

Surprised By Jesus Part 2
When we understand that our life is “closely bound up with Jesus” because he represents us as our King, when we can see that the Father not only said “I love you” to the Son, but he also says “I love you” to us, when we reorder our thinking around the symbolic world of Jesus and his people, we have all the resources we need to overcome the temptations of cheap success and self-doubt. Knowing that we share in Jesus’ victory over evil and knowing that we’re loved by the Father we “are equipped’ to handle the deserts, the wild animals, that come into our lives. Christianity is about working out the victory of Jesus everyday! Your life is bound up by Jesus. Remember, what is true of Jesus is true of you.
