Rebuilding After A Setback
A trip you take for healing can turn into the exact kind of stress your body can’t afford. After a month away from the mic, I’m back to explain why I disappeared, what happened during my 12 days in El Salvador, and how chronic acid reflux and breathing issues from chronic sinusitis shaped every part of the experience. I also get honest about health anxiety, the whiplash of building up hope, and what it feels like when the plan you counted on simply does not work.Things took an even sharper turn when I got hit with traveler’s diarrhea (Montezuma’s Revenge) and had to manage nausea, dehydration risk, and a total gut reset far from home. Once I’m back in the U.S., I walk through the practical steps I take to recover: urgent care, antibiotics, probiotics, and returning to lighter meals while my GI system stabilizes. Underneath all of it is the mental side, fatigue, loneliness, and the faith questions that show up when your body keeps testing you. From there we pivot into what I’m building next: World Cup content in Atlanta (including fan interviews), Call of Duty League plans, and more sports events that help me stay excited about life. Then we go full space nerd with Artemis 2, the moon, and a simple explanation of why rockets don’t launch in a straight line. I also share a personal story I still feel in my chest: getting hired by NASA, turning it down because I didn’t feel peace, and the career twist that followed. If this hits home, subscribe, share the episode with someone who’s rebuilding, and leave a review so more people can find the show.Support the show

Residential and Commercial Broker, 50 Year Mortgage, and Housing Market with Jah-Mai | Ep. 57
Start with gratitude, end with keys in hand. We reconnect with a longtime friend whose journey from football fields to finance taught him how to turn motivation into discipline and discipline into deals. It’s a fast-paced, grounded walkthrough of today’s housing market, cut with faith, humor, and straight answers you won’t get from a rate-only sales pitch. We dig into the core problems buyers face right now: home values that ran ahead of wages, debt loads that sink approvals, and confusion over whether a 50-year mortgage is a lifeline or a leash. Our guest, a mortgage broker across residential and commercial, shows how to read the moment. He breaks down why affordability—more than interest rates—drives outcomes, how seller concessions can save you thousands, and why a $500 car note can quietly erase the home you want. He also demystifies FHA thresholds, the gap between down payments and closing costs, and what it takes to win in a true buyer’s market.Entrepreneurs and creators get a clear playbook. If you write off most of your income, traditional underwriting may shut the door. Bank-statement and asset-depletion loans can reopen it—at a price. We look at when to reduce deductions to qualify, when to keep them and bring a bigger down payment, and how to document deposits so lenders actually count them. Then we cross into commercial lending—DSCR basics, portfolio loans for bundling rentals, and why experience on your team moves approvals. The bigger business lesson: if your company stalls when you pause, you own a job, not a business. Build systems, add partners wisely, and scale without losing your values. There’s heart here too. The name Kadash points to “a new thing,” and you can feel it in the way he serves: fast closings without chaos, clear coaching over pressure, and a steady reminder that you can choose joy without ignoring the math. Ready to move from curiosity to clarity? Follow, share with someone who needs a path to ownership, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway.Support the show

Holiday lights, real talk, and a fresh vision—that’s the vibe as we gather with Erika and Paola for a Spanglish conversation that blends culture, business, and purpose. We swap stories from the beauty, life insurance, and real estate worlds, mapping how systems turn hustle into sustainable growth. Think cash flow basics, budgets that actually guide choices, and SOPs that protect your time and your money. Names like Tres Voces Y Un Sueño, Latinos Building Legacy, and Café, Cultura Y Cash Flow spark a bigger question: how do we design a show that teaches and uplifts while staying true to our roots? We outline a format that blends expert interviews, practical toolkits for first-time founders, and vulnerable stories about setbacks, leadership, and communication. The goal is simple—create a space where Latino entrepreneurs find clarity, courage, and community.Faith shows up as a steady anchor. We talk fasting practices like the Daniel Fast, the calm that comes from ritual and reflection, and why purpose outlives metrics. It’s about service—giving haircuts to people in recovery, restoring dignity in small moments—and about choosing character when the comments get loud. We close with holiday traditions from El Salvador, Panama, and the Dominican Republic, vision boards that set intention, and a playful “would you rather” that keeps joy in the journey.Enjoy the warmth, take the tools, and help name the new show.
