On this episode Joshua Emery gives us the definition of Servant Leadership. He shares Biblical examples and gives insight on how to positively effect you circles of influence, starting with yourself.

We are all called to be disciple makers. We can all do it. Ask God to place someone in the cross-hairs of your love and attention and then walk with this person. Discipleship is a relational journey with another person, that involves restoring what the enemy has stolen, repairing what sin has broken, preparing the person for future ministry and training them how to fight against the schemes of the enemy

Christians in the negative world need to learn how to equip themselves and their children to know what society believes and what Christians believe and why. The Woke agenda and Critical Race Theory is godless and anti-gospel. They use similar vocabulary as Christians but have changed the definitions. We need to be the salt and light. We need to build strong marriages and families. We need to provide an alternative culture to what the world is offering.

This is the start of a new CCF Summer Series. On this episode Pastor Tobin will be discussing where the church finds itself in culture today and how we got there. It's important to know how our culture thinks if we are going to be effective at evangelism and disciple making. When seeking God's direction we often start out strong in prayer until He opens the doors and reveals His plan. Too often once we get the vision we take off on our own strength and wonder why all of a sudden we are burned out and getting no where. Vision needs oxygen and the oxygen is found in continued prayer and intimacy with God. Don't swap out God's presence for His plan. Stay close and stay connected to the one who puts all the puzzle pieces together.

If your vision doesn't scare you, is it really from God? On this episode we discuss stepping out in faith, the need for prayer, wise council, and the excitement of hearing God all along the way. When your vision is big enough, then God gets all the glory.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Acknowledging God is more than just recognizing that there is a God, it involves seeking Him, listening to Him and obeying Him.

Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."The Greek word for disciple means student, learner, follower, someone who adheres completely to the teaching of another, making them his rule of life and conduct. Jesus was very clear about the cost of following him. "Anyone of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:33)Don't get complacent, keep following Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your life, your thoughts, your actions, your finances, your hobbies.

On this episode we look at Joshua 1:3,9 "I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses...Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discourage, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."Strength and Courage is developed through daily disciplines of Bible study, prayer, worship, and connecting with brothers and sisters in the Christ.

On this episode we focus on James 1:2-4 " Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."Jesus tells us that in this world we will have many trials, but take heart because he has overcome the world.Trials, difficulties, adversity and suffering don't have to paralyze you with fear. In Christ, we can face them with confidence, joy and peace knowing that He is right by our side.

Why is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead so important to our Christian faith? Because without the resurrection our preaching is pointless our faith is useless and we are still in our sins. The fact that Jesus was raised from the dead validates that He is God, that His sacrifice was accepted and that we now worship a living Savior!

"We want to build a church that attracts the presence of God and the presence of God attracts the people." You attract the presence of God through humility, repentance, reading His Word, prayer, praise and worship.

The Bible tells us to "Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." (Gal. 5:16). On this final episode of Season 4 we dive into the process of fulfilling the vision of the church. It all starts with Christ, so come and join us on a Sunday or a Worship Night where we glorify, magnify, and lift Jesus up! Then get involved in a small group. We have plenty of them throughout the week. New Believers small group on Sunday mornings, Regeneration, PAL, and Griefshare during the week along with Men's and Women's Bible studies. The final step is to join a team and serve. There are plenty of teams to participate in: Hospitality, Kids Life, Kids Worship, Nursery, Parking, Coffee, Worship, Audio/Video, Nursing Home, Cleaning, Community Outreach.

The church is the Lord's the sheep are the Lord's the growth comes from the Lord. We are called to feed His sheep and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We aim to impact and serve the Communities of Central Maine with the love of Jesus. When taking steps to move into what God has called you to, you're going to have to keep moving forward until He shuts the door. Moving forward always involves change. So get comfortable being uncomfortable if you want more of God, more souls for God's kingdom, and more of His anointing in your life.

Getting saved by surrendering yourself to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and trusting in him for eternal life is just the beginning. There are several steps to take in order to grow in your faith and walk in the purposes of God for your life. Step into the Bible. Step into the Church. Step into Baptism. Step into a small group. Step into ministry and start serving.

On this episode we take a look at our church growth and discuss what's next. We are not a small church any longer and we need to begin praying, thinking and planning big church vision. With growth comes change so we need to increase intentionality, increase the invite culture of our church and make better connections with our online church family.
