Suffering, patience, and hope are linked. )Psalm 37:7 & Genesis 50:20 ( Bitterness creeps in when we fixate on the lack rather than the Lord. Stillness is an act of surrender. I’ve had to ask myself: Do I trust God’s heart even when His hand feels hidden? Look at Joseph—sold, imprisoned, forgotten—yet he declared, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good”).Proverbs 14:29 & Galatians 5:22-23: (it warns, “Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.” In a world of instant gratification, how do we cultivate patience in everyday frustrations—traffic, conflicts, unanswered prayers? It starts with humility. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit ( so it’s not about gritting our teeth but abiding in Christ. )Ecclesiastes 7:8 : (I need to ask myself, what is God trying to tell me? Why am I trying to defend this action/ attitude? Is there truth to what this person is sharing? Patience in relationships means choosing love over convenience, forgiveness over resentment. remember that patience isn’t indifference. Jesus overturned tables in the temple, yet He endured the cross, There’s a time to act and a time to wait. Discernment is key.)Hebrews 10:36: (God’s promises are certain, but His timing is mysterious. Our call is to faithfulness, not speed.)
