Covenant Kids In Genesis Chapter 15 God made a covenant; the most powerful agreement between two parties with Abram (Abraham) through a blood sacrifice. God Himself walked between the pieces of the sacrifice for it was His covenant. God would be true and is true to His word even when we fail. Covenant is not just another subject in the bible but constitutes the framework for all the bible to be held. Gods covenant with Abraham was to lead to the ultimate covenant between God and man sealed with the blood of His one and only Son Jesus.

God Knows You And God Loves You In an age where euthanasia, end of life options, abortion and suicide roll off the tongue, and even in the public forum, there seems to often be more sympathy for the life of an orangutan in the jungles of South America, than for an aging grandparent next door. Do you think for a moment that God in His infinite wisdom, would place a greater potential, a greater value and a greater love in a tree or in an animal, than He would in you and me, who are made in the image and likeness of God? This message is to convey the heart of God to the heart of man. The value of human life and worth in the eyes of God. The Father gave of His only Son, so that you and I could live!

The Lord's Child  When it looks, smells and feels like that the death throes of Godly influence are gasping for breath and we ask ourselves "can the pendulum of the righteous swing again??" It was in such times as these, that in answer to a desperate prayer of the woman named Hannah, God gave the woman a child. The child named Samuel who was dedicated to the Lord before conception. 1 Samuel 1 The reformation of the nation was born out of the barrenness of a woman, whose heart was fixed on God for what only He could do. With Samuel, God raised up leadership within a faulted system that would bring down the enemies plans in a fatal swoop!

Diamonds in the rough Jesus Christ is the diamonds and we are the rough! 2 Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us." This treasure that we have is JESUS, and we are the broken jars of clay, that the excellence of His power can work in and through us. However, we must BE WILLING!    

More Than Conquerors: Challenges, distress, peril and even tribulation are part of the life of people who have a pulse and breath in their lungs. “Yet in all these things "Paul states that as believers in Christ, we are more than conquerors and even more than victorious and that an overwhelming victory is ours. In Romans chapter 8 The Empowering Word of God reveals we are not alone in any situation in life. God the Father is for you, that Jesus is for you and that the Holy Spirit is for you. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us and together with Jesus as the captain of the Lords Angelic hosts, we are set up for victory!  

Have You Met The Risen Christ? The devil, having overplayed his hand choking on his champagne and peanuts, was probably the first to declare that “Jesus Is Alive.”  He, with the other rulers, had they known the outcome would not have crucified the Lord Of Glory. In three days of the crucifixion “Jesus was alive and well.” Fifty days after the devil thought he had won the day, Pentecost  Power came, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and three thousand were saved on that day. The Resurrection is the bedrock of the Christian faith and hell and high water Will Not Stop Its Victory!!!

The Lord Has Provided: Good Friday 2026 God in Genesis 22 commanded Abraham to take “his only son” and sacrifice him there on one of the Mountains of Moriah. God did not want Abraham’s son, but He did want his obedience. It was here that God demonstrated His love for Abraham by providing him with a ram caught in the thorns and thicket for a sacrifice. 2,000 years later it was on those same mountains of Moriah that God gave “His only Son Jesus” to demonstrate His love for an entire world being crushed by the weight of its own sin. Our God does not require the sacrifice of our children. On the contrary, God sacrificed His Son for us. What a mighty God we serve, The Lord Has Provided!!!

Guard That Good Thing. In the same way that Adam was commanded to keep and guard the garden, the apostle Paul commands Timothy to Guard the Trust, That Good Deposit and that Good Thing. That Good Thing is of course the gospel entrusted to Paul, Timothy and now to us here today!!! Paul in his own day could see a great apostasy and enemy against believers and the church. Wolves from the outside and perverters from within. Guarding the trust is now even more urgent in this closing dispensation of time. Our need to defend, declare and live the gospel has never been more pressing.

Revelation: The Veil Is Taken Away Many, when reading the word of God find the scripture obscure, confusing, and even as enlightening as a phone book. But this should not be. Paul said in 2 Cor 3:14-15 that when one turns to the Lord, the veil over our hearts is taken away in Christ. Revelation, which is the unveiling of God’s word, is the spiritual principal outworked, as when Jacob removed the stone from the mouth of the well so that Rachel and the flock could drink. Revelation is necessary, so that you may drink and draw life from the wells of salvation.

What Is Truth The worlds demise is not climate change, unstable political and financial systems, and even more unstable politicians or even Covid 19, 20 or 21. Put simply, the rejection or acceptance of Jesus Christ will be the rise and fall of individuals, nations and whole regions encompassing many nations.  Definitive, sure and steadfast is the terminology used by Jesus the Nazarene standing before Pilate. Without ambiguity declaring without compromise without hesitation and totally without shame and fear. Jesus responds to Pilate Jn 18:37 …For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice. Jn 18:38 Pilate said to Him, and is the title of the message today “What is truth?”.

Rise Up You People Of Power Micah 7:8 "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me." We have to decide to rise up, in the authority given to us by Jesus Christ. As we are in the end times, time is running short. We cannot afford to wallow in defeat, as the devil will devour us. Make the decision to arise. And keep on rising up!  Proverbs 24:16 "For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity."

The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength There is great joy in the house when the prodigals come home. The world may not forget our past failures and sins, but our hearts are filled with joy as the burden of sin is removed. One of the best defense systems that the believer has is the joy of the Lord. Our adversary, knowing this, tries to rob us of our joy, for he knows it is the source of our strength, as stated by Nehemiah 8:10. Paul commanded the Philippian Church to “rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.“ Now that is a command!!!

A Spirit Is Being Released The bible and history records the demonically inspired and empowered missions of Pharaoh, Haman, Hitler and Hamas. Their common mandate separated by thousands of years is to eradicate, extinguish, annihilate and obliterate. To combat the evil and wicked influence of an ancient spirit sent to destroy the people of God across the globe, the Spirit of Elijah is once again being poured out on God’s people who will walk in that divine authority. These are the days of Elijah. Will you rise up and be the Elijah of the day?

A Craving Soul Is A Thriving Soul: If you and I want to grow in God, go from strength to strength and from glory to glory, then an appetite for Him is a way of life. David expressed this deep desire while yet in the wilderness Ps 63:8 My soul follows hard after You. Seeking and searching in a manner which borders on desperation, panting, clinging, calling, thirsting and even fainting. Ps 84:2 “My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.“ Oh yes, a craving soul is a thriving soul!!! Go from survival to revival and return to your first love today.

Building Spiritual Momentum: Feeling a little flat? Could use more than a triple strength coffee and a Berocca? But it’s not enough because your tiredness comes from within. Keeping your inner spiritual life benefits every other aspect of our lives. Prov 17:22 A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. Coming to David, as a fugitive in the wilderness running and hiding from King Saul, were 400 men described as being in Distress, in Debt and Discontented. These transformed men later became King David’s Mighty Men. Famous throughout the land, not because of their dysfunction but because of their deeds.  

A Man Sent From God The opening of John’s Gospel Chapter 1 is found some of the most beautiful and profound verses paving the way for the coming of Jesus the Messiah. We are introduced to a man sent from God whose name was John (the baptist). As believers, our job description and mandate is no different to John the baptist. That being to bear witness to the Light. That Light of course is Jesus. Our lives are our testimony, all giving evidence to the life changing encounter that we had with Christ. We too have been “sent from God” for this purpose.

Subdue, Work, Obtain. Hebrews chapter 11 takes us on a chronological roller coaster ride through the Old Testament, mentioning by name, some 16 great people of faith and the 16 writing prophets.  Read about them, and by faith become one of them, for that is why the account is written. There is nothing passive about the Christian walk as described in the faith chapter of the bible, Hebrews 11. Verse 33 states the job description of the New Testament saints. Subdue Kingdoms, Work Righteousness and Obtain Promises. This is our job description!

​ What He’s Done. If you were to die tonight and get into heaven, on what basis upon arriving, can you substantiate your reason for being there and staying there? If you have the slightest temptation or inclination to even whisper the words “because I did this or because I did that”, then you have not understood the gospel message. There is only one answer that has qualified any person to enter the gates of heaven, and it is “Because He, Because He, Because He. Ephesians 2:8-9 wraps it up completely. “…It is the gift of God…”

Write The Vision 2026 Part 2 The perils and pit falls of an aimless life accompany those who have lost their vision for it. The apostle Paul's incredible hardships he endured did not deter him, for he had a heavenly vision. In his own words, and in his own defence standing in a court of law, “Therefore king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.” Do you and I as we enter into 2026 have a heavenly vision for our lives? The benefits of doing so are immense. Not only did the great apostle have a vision, but the Godly vision had gripped him. When the origins of the vision are not earthly, who can stop it!!!  

Write The Vision 2026 (Hab 2:2) Part 1 Before a commercial plane takes to the skies there is a flight plan that needs to be strictly adhered to as standard and mandatory procedure. It ensures that not only does the plane and its passengers depart, but also arrive safely, on time, and in one piece. As we embark on 2026, what does God have for us and for you? When planning for the next 12 months, does God even come into our plans? What is our part to play?  And if our life was described as a flight, what would our flight plan look like? My question for you today! Do you have a flight plan for 2026?    

God Finishes His Work On the seventh day of creation God rested, for He had finished. Noah was commanded to build the ark according to God’s design. That assignment too was completed when God Himself closed the door. Moses built the Tabernacle in the wilderness, and Solomon, the temple in Jerusalem. All challenging projects according to God’s design, and all recorded in scripture as being finished in all the details. We too are God’s workmanship and His temple. The reason that we feel at times to be a work in progress, is because we are! How profound is that!!! God promises to finish the work in us, and we can be confident of its completion. (Phil 1:6)

It is only right that we do celebrate this moment in time when The King of Glory, Jesus the Son of the living God was born and to rejoice the world over, is fitting to do so. But it would be remiss of us all, to not only mention that He came, but also to rejoice in why He came. In Luke chapter 19 Jesus said, Today salvation has come to this house ... for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost. A world crushed by the weight of its own sin needing redeeming and saving. Jesus Hebrew name Yeshua means Salvation.

Bondi: You Cannot Extinguish The Light. Genesis 1:3 Then God said “let there be light”, and there was light.’ If God created the light do you think for one moment that darkness, which much less has the capacity or ability to comprehend it, can extinguish it? At Bondi Beach on the first evening of Hanukkah, the festival of light; darkness tried to destroy the light of the Jewish people here on Australian shores. In John’s gospel Jesus declared “I am the light of the world.” Light therefore is not just something but Someone.  

Not The White House But God’s House The Lord said to the prophet Isaiah in chapter 40 that “the nations are as a drop in the bucket and are counted as the small dust on the scales.” Of its leaders “He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.” The answer for every aspect of your lives will not be found in Government House or The White House but in God’s House. God’s advice to King Solomon is still the same to us here today. “If My people (the believers) who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray… He will heal our land.    

We Would See Jesus At the height of His popularity and influence; Jesus, fulfilling the extraordinary word of prophecy to Daniel, rides into the ancient city of Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate of Jerusalem. A day foreordained before the dawn of time. The euphoria of the moment as the multitudes looked to their messianic hope to rid the scourge of Roman rule. Jesus words must have stunned all those present and a sober word to disciples today. “Jn 12:24 Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”

Fresh Wind And Fresh Fire There is an answer to tired and powerless religion. After Jesus resurrection, His instruction and command was clear. “Go into the city of Jerusalem and wait until you are clothed with power from on high.” After the sound of the rushing mighty wind and tongues of fire came upon the believers; Peter, who only days before ran and denied under pressure, now preached his first spirit filled message and 3,000 were saved. Could your Christian walk do with some fresh wind and fire today?    

Releasing Your Faith. Are you “hemmed and boxed in” and with apparently nowhere to go? The circumstances in life have left you with few or no options at all. It may be sickness, poverty, lack of resources or strife in your marriage and family. Then this message is for you. Moses too, was stuck between a rock and hard place. Pharaohs army bearing down on him and the Red Sea before him in an atmosphere of revolt from his own people. God’s response when Moses cried out “Lift Up Your Rod And Stretch Out Your Hand Over The Sea And Divide It.” This message “Releasing Your Faith” will encourage you to lift up what you already have!!!    

It's not what you know, but WHO you KNOW! Jesus prayed to His heavenly father in John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." To truly know the Lord in your heart, and not just in your head, is what counts in this life. The only thing that has any eternal value, is your relationship with Jesus Christ. The Lord loves you with an unfailing love. Oh, what joys and treasures are to be found! But it is only found in truly knowing HIM!

Glory To God Psalm 96 gives us some great advice about giving glory to God, and the reason why. Exuberant praise effortlessly flows in this psalm for all the things that God has done and we, all peoples, families and even the heavens, the earth, the sea and the woods should rejoice and give to the Lord glory due to His name.  

Breakthrough Is On The Way! “Charters Towers Is Having A Move of God.” This is what we believe, and this is what we pray. The bible says in Job 22:28  that you shall declare a thing and it shall be established for you. The declaring is when we break through in faith. The establishing is Gods sovereign  move on our behalf. It is not something that we can do, but rather something that we can actively believe and pray for. When we do these things, pray and believe, it gives God something to breathe upon, something to anoint, and something to pour out His Spirit and send fire!!!

Your Mouth Is Powerful A Prophetic Word: “God is going to shape the future of this nation through the mouths of My people.” We should know the power of God is released when we speak. Our lips take us somewhere, and our lips are the steering wheel of our lives. Our tongues in scripture are described as a bit in a horse’s mouth, a rudder in a ship, and a forest fire set ablaze by this small member in our mouths. Proverbs 11:11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted…

“Breakthrough” Prophetic Word For Charters Towers: Ps Marcus Ardern. There has been a time of waiting as an arrow is drawn back. But when released, it will come with power and will hit its mark. God will breakthrough for the benefit of the people, and when the breach or opening is made, we are to follow through.  

Outrageous Faith When confronted with an unholy alliance of five Amorite kings, Joshua came to the rescue of the Gibeonites. In the heat of battle, while gaining the victory, Joshua wanted more time and said to the Lord: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the valley of Aijalon.”  Desperate times give rise to desperate, extravagant, ludicrous, ridiculous, and yes, outrageous prayers that happen to avail much. While your friends are checking if it is scriptural to pray in such a way, you too can be chalking up the victories. It’s called outrageous faith!  

Uneducated, Untrained and Unstoppable. Peter and John were brought before religious authorities on the accusation that a lame from birth man was healed, and that a good deed was done for this helpless man. They, however, did not given in to intimidation, threats and violence. These authorities saw the boldness and marvelled at these uneducated and untrained men but noted that they had been with Jesus. The early church prayer meeting that followed, petitioned heaven for even more boldness and for signs and wonders. We too will be unstoppable when we pray in like manner.

And He Called. In Genesis chapter 1, God made, and then called the night and the day, the firmament of heaven and the dry land. To call is to also name, which is the privilege and the assertion of ownership and sovereignty over it. Throughout Gods word, that divine call has gone out to men and women in every generation. Moses, Moses, Samuel, Samuel and Saul Saul. God calls people out from Egypt, traditionally representing bondage, and delivers Egypt out of them. Place your name alongside these divine callings, as the church (Ecclesia) itself, means the Called Out Ones.    

Is There Not A Cause? Divine destiny already revealed itself, when Jesus, only twelve years old responded to His anxious parents, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Fathers business.”  Holding Jesus firmly to the cause of the kingdom for His earthly ministry until the end, standing before Pilate, His words remained steadfast. “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world.” David, the youngest of eight sons, challenged his own brothers before the intimidating giant Goliath of Gath, with words that reverberate to this very day; “Is there not a cause?”

No Blood No Glory God has ordained, before the foundation of the world, a process or protocol for sinful man to be able to enter the presence of a holy and righteous God. Man, once the pinnacle of God’s creation, but now separated from God because of sin, is not only to be forgiven, but to be able to stand in the glory of God. Fallen humanity and the glory of God do not coexist in heaven. How does God destroy sin without destroying us? Heb 9:22 Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Covenants between God and His people have always been sealed with blood. Without the blood there is no glory. No Blood No Glory.    

Things aren't always what they seem. In this day of deception, firstly, we need to understand and know who God is. Romans 11:36 Secondly, if you are born again, and walking with God, you need to know who you are in Christ Jesus. 1 John 4:4,5

Charlie Kirk Assassination Is A Turning Point Early Thursday morning (AEST) many awoke to the devastating news that Charlie Kirk had been assassinated. At the age of 31 he had become a conservative voice of reason and common sense to a generation of youth raised in an intellectual atmosphere of indoctrination of leftist ideology which has totally hijacked our educational systems from day care and upwards. He asked people to think, to reason, to debate, to bridge the divide of our times. His wife Erika’s tribute to her husband Charlie, is more like a presidential address to the nation carrying the message, not of defeat nor of despair, but of amazing resolve and determination. Will you and I find our courageous voice in this turning point in our times?

Father’s Day 2025 The first words that a baby often speaks is daddy, daddy, daddy. In the Hebrew language in which almost all the Old Testament was written that word is ab or abba (Aramaic) spoken to this very day in the streets of Israel. It is interesting to note that Ab or Abba also appears first in the Hebrew dictionary and our concordances. Jesus Himself used this baby talk term “daddy” in His deepest need and anguish in the garden of Gethsemane when He prayed: “Abba (daddy, papa) Father, all things are possible for You.”  Through this position of apparent weakness, Jesus went on to accomplish for man his greatest victory.     

Super Salvation Sunday Salvation can never be overstated. It is the possession of God and therefore supernatural in its origin, power and its effects on the human heart and life. Salvation is imparted to man by an act of God’s divine grace through faith and a believing heart.

The Strongman’s Gospel The Christian Life is not for the Lilly livid, pathetic, insipid and flaccid individual who persists in doing life, moving 10,000 tons of gravel with a puny shovel. The believer in Christ is “Called Up” and placed in the hot seat of a D9 dozer with twin steer. Your co-pilot is Jesus Christ and He says “Now Drive.” Now seated with Him in heavenly places with God all things become possible. Now that is what I call smart!!!

Jerusalem, A Cup That Sends All Reeling. God is dealing, even in the current time, with the nations of the earth, as they gather around Jerusalem to seek its demise. But it is God who is drawing these nations into the valley of judgment. The Jewish people continue to make “Aliyah” or to ‘Go up’ to Jerusalem to return to their historical homeland incurring global hostilities. It is in fact the nations and peoples that oppose Israel, who will incur God’s judgment, for it is His desire and plan that they do so. Jerusalem is a burdensome stone that will send many reeling.  

“The Gospel.” The Main Event. Jesus said to “Go out into all the world and preach the gospel.” The ministry, the messenger, the denomination, the method, style, and way of delivery, are all absolutely secondary to the gospel itself. When Billy Graham packed the MCG in 1956, 144,000 people attended and many gathered outside the venue. Billy Graham was however not the main event but his message was!!!

Becoming Part Of History: Daniel is Reading the Scriptures that foretell that Israel would be in Babylonian captivity for a period of seventy years. His heart begins to pound as he realises the time of her deliverance is near. His response after Reading the Prophecy was To Fast, To Pray, and although one of the most righteous and exemplary of men, Confessed His Sin And The Sin of the people which resulted in their captivity. The angel Gabriel interrupted his prayer and gave him a further prophecy and time line until the end of the ages. Daniel did not display a casual “God is sovereign; she’ll be right mate attitude.” Engaging in prayer to God and His plan for the ages, Daniel Became Part Of History and a great influencer of it.

The Desert Blooms Again Isaiah 35 has only ten verses which speak of a time when the wilderness, the wasteland and the desert, will once again blossom abundantly. It also speaks of not just the physical restoration of the land, but also the personal restoration of the people. The eyes of the blind will be opened, the ears of the deaf unstopped, the lame shall leap and the tongue of the dumb will sing. This is the heart of the Gospel message. This passage of scripture finds its complete fulfilment in the promised Messiah. Turn to Jesus today and see your desert bloom again!

Rise, He Is Calling You! In the Gospel of Mark’s fast paced narrative, blind Bartimaeus is taken from begging on the side of the road in the lowest city on earth, to following Jesus on the elevated road to the city of the Great King, and all in seven verses. When hearing that Jesus was in town, blind Bartimaeus saw with the eyes of faith and cast aside his begging clothes and his dismal past. He didn’t phone a friend, but he did call passionately out to Jesus. Try it today! You will be surprised how much you will see!!!
