We have studied overcoming Guilt, Despair, and now the third in this Overcomers Series we will study overcoming Fear. We begin with Joshua 1 and the Lord's command to Joshua, "Be strong and very courageous" as he prepared to invade Palestine. Did he experience fear? How did he overcome it?

Guilt can serve a good purpose in our lives if it leads to salvation and bad if it lingers beyond confession, repentance, and forgiveness. We can overcome guilt.

Luke 6:45 Jesus declares, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh." Change your heart, change your life.

Jesus has invited us to his banquet to enjoy His Presence and all the many wonderful things he has for us. What are the excuses we make for not showing up? Do we think the Lord accepts these excuses?

Be All You Can Be" was the slogan for the US Army recruiting campaign for years. The emphasis was on what you could become as a soldier in the Army. What could the Holy Spirit do with you if He had total control in your life? Oswald Chambers titled his daily devotional book, 'My Utmost For His Highest' and that my friend is the key to realizing our fullest potential for the Kingdom of God.

Hurts should not last a lifetime. We have a healing Savior who has the power to deliver us from past hurts. Let today be the beginning of a brand new day in your life.
