In this book, the followers of Jesus are persecuted for their faith and some are killed, stoned, and/or crucified for their faith. Saul of Tarsus is one of the obstacles mentioned in this book of the bible. He is blinded by Jesus on his way to Damascus. The reason why he was on his way to Damascus, is because he was chasing after Peter, which is one of Jesus' most faithful and well known followers.
