Patience is "long-suffering." It is internal and external control in difficult circumstances. We aren't born with it. We are born again with it but then must grow in it. We often treat the Holy Spirit like an optional "add-on" to our faith. But Jesussaid the Spirit is our advantage. We don’t strive for love, joy, and peacethrough willpower; we cultivate a life of "hosting" the Spirit.
