Earlier this year, I found myself in a place where everything felt heavy… overwhelming… and honestly, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know who to go to. Trauma is the gateway to spirituality! Oftentimes, we go through things that really traumatize us and in the process, we lose ourselves and lose our connection with God. God never leaves us, we leave him! The Bible says, when there a desire to do good, evil is always present. The enemy will send popcorn blessings, to distract and detour you and these blessings are always short lived; leaving us broken and confused. But, the blessings of God maketh rich and adds no sorrow! This is why it’s important to seek his face and know his word, so that the enemy will not be able to distract and destroy you! Don’t be fooled by the distractions! Impatience is the author of settling. Settling is believing that the enemy's bare minimum, is equal to Gods Best. God's best for your life, will always be exceedingly, abundantly, above what you may ask, or think. Don't confuse provision for promise! People, places, and things, often times come into our lives for a season, as well as character development. Character development is the process of being able to recognize God's hand in your life. The recognition of his hand in your life, enables you to let go of people, places & things, that are not of or like him. Know, the promises of God are yes and amen. They say anger will reveal a person's true character! At times, life and my day-to-day interactions cause me to question people's shady behaviors and their solidarity. Through character development, God has taught me how to hold, myself at a standard despite people's actions and behaviors towards me. This week I'll teach you how stay in rare form as well!

As a trauma response, my toxic trait was not allowing the people God sent to my life; to aid me in purpose. I was scared to let people close to me and questioned their care and love. God had to remind me that he's with me, and has given me the tools, I need to see people for who they really are.
