Prayer is one of our direct lines of communication with God. How well are you stewarding that relationship, through thoughtful and meaningful communication?

It's been a couple weeks since I was able to publish and I feel like all of my planned episodes kind of rolled into one. I hope someone can relate and get back on track or maybe avoid this kind of mess altogether!

If you've ever gone through something traumatic, you may have found yourself living in survival mode. Many things can cause us to go into survival mode type thinking, but what's important is finding a way to trust God with our future and our plans again so that we don't get consumed in what is already behind us. God has great plans, even still.

What truth are you living? Your truth, their truth, no truth, some truth? Listen in, as we dive into what the Bible says is truth.

The truth is, according to our Bible we are likely to see war ramp up at a pace like never before in our lifetime. Many people are hoping for peace, and to that I suggest looking for the internal peace that God provides. Listen and be encouraged.

The truth is, our way is rarely God's way. And the truth is, thats hard to accept when we have the best of intentions. The best way to know God's way, is to get into His word and find out for yourself. Relying on the opinions of men can be a slippery slope. Don't miss out on the Creator's blessings for your life by ignoring his instructions.

I love a good investigation, and looking into the foundations of our country has always been interesting to me! President's Day made for a good time to discuss the topic of our founding fathers and their beliefs.

Romans 1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, Pride can pop up in our lives in many different ways, and it's hard to detect sometimes. When we seek God first and truly acknowledge Him in ALL of our ways, humility comes naturally. I hope you'll listen and be encouraged.

Truth is, the devil doesn't have to get us to commit elaborate sin, if he can keep us distracted. Distraction is one of the best weapons of the enemy because it is just subtle enough to look almost good. It looks like taking time for yourself and your plans, but does that leave room for God and his will for your life?

How much do you really trust God with your life? Several years ago I surrendered to His plan over mine, and what a blessing it has been!!!! Listen as I share the ways in which he changed the direction of my life, and how I am learning to trust in that process more and more.

My sweet husband joined me on this episode to share some of his past ,and what led him to change the way he was acting in selfish ambition. God turned it for good. He made a few bad choices early on that really changed his life, but overall they led him straight to the Lord and helped transform him into the wonderful God fearing man, that he is now.

Do you consider it a joy to face trials? As a follower of Christ, that is exactly what we are called to do. It's not always easy, but it is certainly possible to do. We know through His word that He is working ALL things for the good of those that love him and are called according to his plan. Let us find encouragement through His word to overcome troubles with joy and peace that passes all understanding!

My friend Sari, was given a new identity through her relationship with Jesus. He helped her to forgive people that had hurt her deeply, and never apologized. Carrying heavy burdens that were laid upon her heart was something God never really intended for her to do, and once she laid aside the weight through forgiveness her life was transformed into something beautiful. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

My friend Becca, has an amazing testimony! She was born and raised in church, but fell into years of addiction, before she found a real relationship with Jesus in a jail cell. Let her story remind of us of the prodigal son, and also remind us that there is no place to far, that the Father won't welcome us back home with open arms. He's just waiting on you to come back home.

Let's talk about electrolyzed reduced water! Never heard of it? I hadn't either until God had me to cross paths with some amazing people who were on a mission to help people improve their health and well-being by setting them on the path to living water.

The truth is, sadness sucks and it's hard to deal with. The good news is you don't have to go it alone. God desires to be close to us in our times of trouble, and is the trusted friend who will never let you down.

Truth is, we've all made excuses for different reasons. And the other truth is, they probably stunk. If we wanted to put in the effort, we would. If we don't want to, it's easy to make excuses so that we can stay comfortable and avoid accountability. Luckily God loves us enough, to get us uncomfortable! Let us all do some self reflection!!

Discipleship is hard! Often there's an illusion that church attendance is the same as discipleship, and that is part of the delusion. We can easily get caught up in the disfunction that sets in when we are acting on our own accord and not living in full alignment with God's will for us! Discipleship, or becoming more like Jesus, will help us draw closer to the Father. Listen in as my sister shares insight on this topic for us!

Did you ever realize that the truth can be 2 completely separate things at the same time? Discernment is a beautiful gift of the Holy Spirit, but it can also be really heavy and hard to navigate. Listen as I share some really hard moments that brought me beautiful growth. Obedience is hard, but worth it!

This season, we will be diving into different topics to see what God's word really says. The truth is, it's not always easy to walk in obedience to God, but favoring the opinion of men is a dangerous game to play. Season 2 will challenge you to read your Bible yourself, to know the truth. I encourage you to let the Holy Spirit guide you in. this season of learning God's truth through Hs word.

Do you have things in your past that are holding you back? Sometimes we let lies of the enemy hold us back from the calling that God has placed on us. Listen and be encouraged to walk boldly in the things He's asking of you!

Do you ever think about your interactions with others and wonder if you've left a meaningful impact? Chances are, you have been more influential than you think! I encourage you to be mindful of your interactions, and take every opportunity you can to plant seeds of faith, hope, and love that can be found in Jesus Christ.

Let's explore 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 together! When this message was laid on my heart, it felt super random, and even though I had read this chapter before, God revealed more as I was recording! His word never returns void!

Have you ever wanted a "how-to" guide on life? I know I sure did!!! Shifting my mindset about the Bible, and how it should be used was life changing for me and my family. Using this book as authority on how to live your life and make your choices, is the best decision you could ever make. I encourage you to listen to this perspective and consider using the Bible as the authority in your life to see how God wants to improve your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

There is a parable from the Bible which describes 10 virgins waiting on their groom, this is a spiritual representation of us waiting on our groom as the bride of Christ. Will you be foolish or wise? Now is a crucial time to have your lamp full. The best way to do this is to know the word of God and to live it.

God has given us each many wonderful gifts and talents. How well are you stewarding those God given abilities to help with the harvest? Let's recap the parable of The Talents from Matthew 25 together.

after being called for a long time to begin this podcast, an encounter with God this last Sunday left me with no choice but to obey Him. I know He sees me and hears me and its so often through the voice of others and their obedience to Him that I get confirmation of this truth. I want to be that voice for whoever God is using me to reach. <3
