ヨハネの手紙第一 2:1–14この説教では、ヨハネの福音書の中でイエスが語られた「古くて、しかし新しい戒め」について見ていきます。なぜこの戒めは新しいのでしょうか。そして、それはイエスにある私たちの人生において、なぜ重要なのでしょうか。 1 John 2:1-14In this sermon, we will look the old yet, new commandment that Jesus had spoken about in the Gospel of John. What makes this command new? And why is it important in our lives in Jesus.

While everyone saw it through the lens of fear, there were two that saw it through the lens of faith. This weeks message we will look at how to cultivate mature faith.

イスラエルが荒野で不平を言ったにもかかわらず、神はなお救いの道を備えてくださいました。今週の説教では、荒野における救いと、それが今日の私たちにどのように関係しているのかを見ていきます。Despite Israel's grumbling in the desert, God still provides a means of salvation. In this week's sermon we will look at salvation in the desert and how it relates to us today.

In this continuation to the Growth series, we begin a new series of how the Lord uses the desert seasons to grow us unto spiritual maturity. We begin with Israel's freedom from Egypt into the wilderness.

成長シリーズの最後の説教では、ニネベの人々の悔い改めに対するヨナの反応に目を向けます。私たちは特に他人の欠けや弱さに直面するとき、時にヨナのようになってしまうことがあることを見ていきます。In this final sermon in the Growth series, we look at Jonah's reaction to Nineveh's response of repentance. We will see how we at times can be like Jonah especially when it comes to people's short-comings.

互いの人生に語りかけることは大切ですが、同時に、語られていることを聞き、受け止め、考えることも大切です。先週のメッセージに続いて、今週は「健全に受け取ること」とはどのようなものかを共に考えていきたいと思います。While it's important to speak into each other's lives, it's also important to hear and consider what is being said. Continuing from last week's message, we will now dive what healthy reception can look like.

人の人生に語りかけることは、必ずしも簡単なことではありません。特に、私たち自身の弱さや足りなさといった敏感な話題になると、なおさら難しく感じます。しかし神は、愛と配慮の表現として、他者を通して私たちに語られることがあります。今週のメッセージでは、人の人生に語りかける時に大切にしたい原則について見ていきたいと思います。Speaking into someone's life is not always easy especially when it comes to talking about some sensitive things like our very own shortcomings or weaknesses. But God uses others to speak into our lives because speaking can be an expression of one's love and care. In this week's sermon we will look at some principles to hold onto when it comes to speaking into someone's life.

For instance, "I need grow in this or that",...it's often a Christian's version of what I need to improve or do better in.
