Funny
Another unreleased song. I guess the opening lyric "If sperm had legs and not a tail, and never had to swim", made me think the word Hit wasn't written all over it. Recorded and mixed by Adam Rhodes, Periscope Studios, Melbourne.

All Over
Unreleased demo. This version was recorded on a Tascam 144 cassette tape machine around 2004 and then mixed by Shane O'Mara at Yikesville. The band version is available on iTunes or Cd Baby or can be streamed on one of those streamy things where I'll get paid about $00000000.000000001c for each listen. But wait there's more….you can listen to it here for nothing!

Civilised World
Written in 1984. I used to play it in the band I was in at the time but this is a version I found on a cassette labeled 1990-91-92 when I was moving house last year. Must have recorded it in my bedroom in one of those years. I forgot to shove the clock under the pillow when I recorded it.

Backbone River
The hidden track from the 2003 album "Sleeper". I had to smoke a little and drink a little whiskey the night before recording this to get the vocal sound I wanted. I grew up in a place called Werribee. Almost two hundred years ago a local from the Kulin Nation told a passing whitefella that the river that flowed through the area was called Werribee - which in the local language meant backbone or spine. More whitefellas came but didn't pass through Werribee. They stayed, stole the river, the land, the dreams and the future from that man who was kind enough to tell us what the word Werribee means.
