This is the last teaching in this series... ending on Peter's confession of MESSIAH as Son of the Living God. I will pick back up with posting a podcast as much as possible while Mollie and I are making a transition to Phoenix Arizona...and then continue to post them there.

Ever wonder about the people in the OT that were not Hebrew? Did God intend to ignore them or what? How about now, what is about those that are not part of the church? Are there those that God is not interested in?

Many people discuss this account of Jesus walking on the water by focusing on Peter's "sinking because he took his eyes of Jesus." But is that what this is really about?

John is beheaded... and Jesus is facing a massive crowd... Ministry never ends... and for disciples, following Christ carries a heavy burden and also a huge blessing.

Jesus carries on His parables with the crowds and privately with the disciples...asking them to consider what the Kingdom of Heaven is like

Jesus suddenly changes direction with His teaching and begins to use parables. Why? What are they? What did He mean by a Sower sowing seed?

Is there a sin that is unforgivable...unpardonable? Continuing with part 2 of a discussion of Jesus' words in Matthew 12

Is there a sin that is unforgivable? Suicide? Is there something that is beyond God's will to forgive? Also, are we required to keep the Sabbath?

Is it ever okay to doubt? Have you ever doubted your faith? Does that make you an unbeliever or is it a sin?

Does it cost to be a Disciple of Jesus? and if so, How Much?

When Jesus sends out His 12 Apostles....were there any guarantees...and what can we expect when we, as disciples, follow Jesus?

If your faith is strong enough, if it is "certain", can you make miracles happen for you? Is that how faith works?

Jesus, when faced with a question about His teaching on fasting, calls Himself "The Bridegroom" and uses an analogy about unshrunk patches and old clothes...and new wine and old wineskins. What is He talking about...and what about fasting?

What does it mean to be called to ministry? How can you know if you are called to ministry? What is it you are listening for? How will you recognize it when you hear it?

Who is Jesus....Did He ever claim to be God...in this section of Scripture, Jesus makes it crystal clear who He is

Jesus explains the cost of following Him...but then, He makes clear that He is THE LORD GOD....and the Disciples find themselves afraid and also questioning - Who Is This?!

After preaching on the mountain...Jesus begins to display the absolute authority behind His words

Jesus takes judging to the next level and makes clear that judging will be necessary because there will be very dangerous people that look just like Believers...among the Believers...that are not at all related to the Lord.

"Only God can judge me!!" I hear it all the time. "Judge not lest ye be judged!" .....Did Jesus really say that we are never to judge anyone?

Should we be fasting? Is being wealthy wrong? Are you worried about it?! lol. What does it mean to seek first His Kingdom?

How often do we do something because we hope to be recognized for it...even secretly? How often do we pray for the same reason, hoping that if we say it right, God must answer the way we want.

When Jesus spoke, He frequently referenced Hell....Was it a real place? Was it eternal? Jesus also goes on here in Matthew 5 to continue His argument that no one is saved by keeping the Law.

Are we responsible for keeping the Old Testament Law? IF so, how many and which ones? IF not, why not? What does that mean about the 10 Commandments?

What happens when THE WORD teaches His disciples Scripture...HIS own WORD....and His authority is fully endorsed by miracles

Did the disciples really have absolute faith in a random Rabbi as he strolled by their job - calling them to drop everything and follow Him?? What gave these men the ability to make such an epic decision, on the spot? What are we expected to do with this?

Could the Son of God sin? What was really going on between Jesus and Satan in the wilderness? How can we understand this in relation to our lives today?

We are going to jump out of order a little here....because I have learned something this week...and I need to share it. REST is something that requires faith.

Some of the most controversial material in the life of Jesus comes from His baptism. Why did He get baptized if He was perfect? Is there a second baptism of the Holy Spirit? What is the point of baptism?

Could Jesus have sinned?? Did He "grow up"? If so, does that mean that He was not All God? Did He disobey His parents when He stayed behind in the Temple at the age of 12?

There is NO GREATER mystery in all of creation than this....God united Himself with mankind; born in a human body. He entered our sorrow. He shared the position of the common people - His people - in order to become for them Salvation [and for all who claim His Name]

As a result of sin, the story of mankind is horrific....and were the story to end that way, how hopeless would we be....but thats not the whole story....From the start there has been a promise that has woven alongside the sin of men...and Matthew introduces us to the Promise...He has a name

"Unless a seed goes into the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit" - so says Christ in John 12:24. Many people have asked me about my story...Today I want to share some of it, focusing on the ministry side...and explaining the power of this verse in my life

SUBMISSION. A word no one likes to hear? Why, because its rooted in our DNA. This is a sermon from BBC during the Kindred series on the Family.

Can you love the Bible TOO MUCH? Can "the Word of God" become and idol? Can the Bible replace Jesus in your life? The author of Psalm 119 concludes his 170+ verses with a final proclamation of his love and devotion to the Word of God.

When you come to the Lord in prayer….do you anticipate a conversation or a speech? Do you come to the Word and cry for it to speak to you?

The power of the Word of God to use "story" - testimony - to attach itself to our hearts ....and what is redemption, really? This week we look at all this through our continuing study of Psalm 119

Have you ever thought about God as a Hiding Place...How can you "hide" in Him? And what are you "hiding from"? If He is our hiding place, our shield, our salvation...then can you lose it?

When you say that you Love God's Word....is that something that you mean or is it something that you say?? What you are willing to sacrifice for it will answer that question. One day in the future, Jesus - The Word- will teach the Word personally...will you know any of it beforehand?

Covering Acts 13, we get an amazing look at how Paul presented the Gospel without using his testimony and verifying that Jesus was Messiah, Son of God, Son of David, Risen from the dead...and doing it all from the Old Testament

Sometimes we find ourselves needing God to help us....to save us....and not that we need His assistance or direction, we need his complete HELP because we don't have a clue how what to do

How could suffering or affliction EVER be seen as a blessing? How could you find comfort IN IT rather than simply in the hope of escaping it? How can you be grateful to God for it?!!

This section of Psalm 119 shows some very similar language to David's Psalms and there is a great picture of God's Word as our defense.

When we see things that invade our hearts through our eyes...things that make us happy, sorrowful, fearful, etc...these things can scar our souls....the author here in this section of Psalm 119 is asking God to "scar" his heart with the Word.

How do you navigate in a place where you are a stranger? How can you endure when others are attacking you and mocking you? This section of Psalm 119 is amazing. For the author, God's Word is a "playground" and it gives the "counsel of a husband"; the "advice of a father"; "the wisdom of a friend".

Is it difficult for you to spend time in God's Word.... a "Quiet Time" .... Have you ever considered that it should be fun? There is a prescription for sin...
