racism, capitalism, and the environmental crisis
hi guys, here is the creative project i am doing for my english final this quarter! in this episode i am doing a spoken essay where i analyze Aldo Leopold's The Land Ethic, Lauret Savoy's The Geology of Us, Jennifer Garcia Peacock's Sun Ma(i)d: Art, Activism, and Environment in Ester Hernandez’s Central Valley, and Deborah Miranda's To Make Story Again in the World. what i found most interesting in this class is how racism driven by capitalism perpetuates the environmental crisis. by looking at the perspective of this intersection from women of color, we can attempt to understand how these complex issues are intertwined. sounds wild but give this episode a listen and you will understand a little bit more ;) hope you enjoy!!

why your eating disorder stops now
*graphic warning: discussions about eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and excessive exercise* hi guys!! i'm rounding out the year with something very important to me and it took a lot of courage to post this. i wanted to get personal and talk about my recent struggles with an eating disorder in hopes that it can inspire anyone else out there who is also struggling. while i have always hated showing weakness, this is something that has affected my life for a long time and i was finally able to accept that i can't always be perfect, especially when i'm struggling. i feel that throughout the difficult process of recovery i was able to put a stop to something that could have done a lot of irreparable damage and therefore i was able to bounce back relatively quickly. while it is still a major struggle in my daily life, i cannot begin to express how proud i am for recovering as it has literally brought back my happiness, ability to connect with people, and confidence. i hope you guys find this episode helpful and if you are struggling with an eating disorder i hope i can inspire you to also seek help and begin the process of taking back your life because you only get one. if you or anyone you know is struggling, my dms are open and for additional resources see: https://anad.org/get-help/eating-disorders-helpline/

friendship issues
mega tea just dropped... but i want to preface that no names are being dropped, no one is being drug in the mud, in this episode i simply discuss common problems when it comes to female friendship struggles. while i like to give advice, this episode is more of a story time in a way because i still haven't found all the answers to issues i've (or any at all lol) faced. also, i lost my notes on where to edit this episode :( soooo that's why it is so long and i truly apologize, i just wanted to go ahead an post it since the contents of this episode are really important to me. college updates coming in the next episode (soon)!! hope u enjoy *today's agenda: 1. friends when u get a bf 2. secret animosity 3. transparency 4. quality over quantity 5. losing friends when u glow up 6. childhood friends 7. surface level friends 8. pick me friends

revelations on the side of hwy 68
so my car broke down on the side of the highway today. this did in fact cause me to go through an emotional rollercoaster as I suffered the embarrassment of being traffic goers' entertainment. in today's most authentic episode yet, I detail my anxious thoughts, lack of car knowledge, reflections on my podcast's identity, and analysis of why appealing to such a large audience is often flawed. hope you enjoy!

"i do everything i want"
strange title, i know. today i am breaking down a small realization i had recently which explains to how i use random hobbies, interests, sports, etc. to adapt to tough times and stay true to myself. i've always just assumed i was curious, but i've started to notice it's because i often make decisions in the moment with little regret and in ways that consider myself, rather than the eyes of others. this approach to life has helped me so much and i am just starting to put the pieces together but hopefully this can inspire others to act more for their soul instead of just worrying. however, i have also been dealing with some of that regret lately and because it is an inevitable feeling when you try new things, i am giving out some of the ways i help deal with it. this is a pretty short episode, hope you enjoy!

welcome to the podcast!!!
Hey everyone (esp. those who motivated me to do this)! I'm so excited to share my conspiracies and opinions with you all but wanted to do a little intro first! Here I talk about reasons for making the podcast, goals I have for it, a little bit more about me, and some of my real time reactions during the podcast recording/editing process. It's a little bit out of order and slightly all over the place but I'm just starting my podcaster career on a very transparent and real note ;) Hope you enjoy and find this as entertaining as it was to make.
