The Blessed Life
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matt. 5:6). Blessedness describes a future event, and for those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, who love God and His will, will be filled. Instead of focusing on food or physical substances, they hunger and thirst for the goodness that comes along with a love for Him and for others. Christ does not say “Blessed are the righteous,” because no one is righteous, no not one. He says, “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness. The question that we must all ask ourselves is, how much am I seeking after righteousness? Am I willing to give it my all-in order to receive? Am I satisfied with just a little bit, or do I want more? A little bit about our ministry
