What is the importance of the month of Rajab Rajab is the seventh month of the Islamic Lunar Calendar. This month is a prelude to Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar in which Muslims are commanded to observe fasting from sunrise to sunset. It is also one of the four sacred months besides, Muḥarram (Islamic month 1), Dhū al-Qaʿdah (Islamic month 11), Dhu al-Ḥijjah (Islamic month 12) and. During these four months, hostilities and conflicts have been forbidden and have to come to an end or halt.

Prophet (S.A.W) was shown "Jannah" and "Jahannum" During this journey of Miraj, the Prophet (S.A.W.) was also taken to Jannah (Paradise) and Jahannum (Hell) by Angel Jibrael (A.S.). During this visit, Prophet (S.A.W.) saw the blessing which will be received by the inhabitants of paradise but also saw the tortures and torments which will be inflicted on the people who will enter hell.

THE VOICE
Lailat al Miraj : The Miraculous Night Journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Miracles do happen, for those who do not believe, are clearly unaware of the life of our Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH). Islamic history is a superior witness to these miracles. Lailat-al-Miraj, was one of the greatest miracles of his time, the night that the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) ascent to the Heavens. It was not only a spiritual journey but a physical one as well. The journey of Lailat-al-Miraj signifies the greatness and importance of the Prophet (PBUH) in Allah’s (SWT) eyes. This night of miracle is also known as the “Isra and Miraj” which denotes 2 parts of the journey. The first part of the Prophet’s (PBUH) journey from Mecca to Jerusalem is known as Isra - which means ‘walking in the night’. Angel Jibrael visited the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and was carried to Masjid-al-Aqsa in Jerusalem on “buraq”, the steed of the prophets. In the Quran, Allah (SWT) verifies the truth of this journey as well: _“Glory be to Him Who took His devotee (Muhammad) one night from Masjid-al-Haram (in Makkah) to Masjid-al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem), whose vicinity We have blessed, so that We may show him some of Our signs: surely He is the One Who is the Hearer, the Observer. (Quran 17:1) The second part of the journey is called as Miraaj, which literally means “ladder”, and it alludes to the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) ascension to Heaven itself. From Jerusalem, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was then transported to Paradise on his steed ‘Buraq’, where he explored all seven levels of paradise and met a number of the prophets who had preceded him, which included Adam (AS), Musa (AS), Ibrahim (AS), Isa (AS), Yusuf (AS), Yahya (AS), and numerous others.

Reviving Qur'an and Sunnah
Al Qur'an and also the "way of life" as practiced by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) Muhammad Ibn Abdullah.@515-605-9326... Our purpose is the revival and the restoration, of pure Islam. When we speak of reviving Islam, we are referring to the kind of teachings or the kind of preachings that were done by many, many Muslims since the days of Prophet Muhammad of Arabia to bring the Muslim community back to the everyday practical teachings in Islam

THE QURAN AND SUNNAH
Reviving the Quran and Sunnah As Muslims, we must make it a point to imprint the Sunnah in our hearts and souls in order for its teachings to be translated in our everyday actions. Our Islamic identity is further preserved and strengthened through the application of Sunnah in our daily practices, behaviors, morals, manners, principles and habits. The importance of Sunnah is highlighted several times in the Quran, for example: “Verily in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example for him whose hope is in Allah and the last Day, and remembers Allah much.” (33:21)

THE VIOCE
Meaning of Thanksgiving - Praise to God In the Bible, the meaning of thanksgiving reflected adoration, sacrifice, praise, or an offering. Thanksgiving was a grateful language to God as an act of worship. Rarely, if ever, was thanksgiving extended to any person or thing, except God. “These things I remember as I pour out my soul; how I used to go with the multitude, leading the procession to the house of God, with shouts of joy and thanksgiving among the festive throng” (Psalm 42:4). Long before the colonists celebrated their successes, Nehemiah assembled two great choirs to give thanks for God’s faithfulness in rebuilding the wall. “ . . . The Levites were sought out from where they lived and were brought to Jerusalem to celebrate joyfully and dedication with songs of thanksgiving and with the music of cymbals, harps, and lyres” (Nehemiah 12:27). The true meaning of Thanksgiving focuses upon relationship. Thanksgiving is a relationship between God and man. Upon their arrival at New Plymouth, the Pilgrims composed The Mayflower Compact, which honored God. Thanksgiving begins with acknowledging God as faithful, earnestly giving Him thanks, in advance, for His abundant blessings. “. . . In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6). Thanksgiving is an attitude of the heart that reinforces an intimate relationship with God.

QURAN AND SUNNAH
IWDM: Males and females working together for that, so that's our goal. In whatever we do, no matter how small that is, whether we are having a dawah session to discuss how we are to propagate or introduce Islam to other people, Non-Muslim, or revive it among ourself, no matter how small the effort is, we should always be doing it with the goal in mind. And the goal is to have a physical, material establishment serving Muslim life. A model of community life in America for Muslims. That's what the goal is. That means we want to be responsible for areas that provide for the residents, single, married, families, large and small, their needs that they expect when they move into a neighborhood, will be served or will be there for them. The stores that they will need to shop in, the social centers they'll need. They have expression for their social life and spirit, social spirit. All the facilities, especially education, number one, is education. Preschool, elementary school, high school, and junior college and finally, one day we hope Inshallah, we will have full colleges, full term colleges for two years and four years, four years colleges, and we'll have universities one day, Inshallah

THE QURAN & SUNNAH
Gaining Knowledge to Revive Islam Hasan Al-Basri narrated that Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He whom death overtakes while he is engaged in acquiring knowledge with a view to reviving Islam with the help of it, there will be (only) one degree between him and the Prophet in Paradise.”
