With the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we are reminded what it looks like to be the man in the Arena. Words coined by Theodore Roosevelt, Sean and Philip discuss the Christian's proclivity to avoid stepping into the fray. But if America is to have a Turning Point, we are going to need much more men in the arena.

Emphasizing doctrine and catachesis is good and correct. But, if we emphasis the dogma at the expense of the narrative, we’re missing a crucial piece of the puzzle. Why does story matter in the way we live? Sean and Philip discuss how story plays a key role in their worldview.

Does the “all” in “All Are Yours” mean that all things are equal things? Does it mean value is flattened? How do we distinguish between different goods - good and better? What about factions? Is there room for disagreement, and even division, within an “All Are Yours” paradigm?

Edwin Friedman’s book, “A Failure of Leadership,” sets up criticial categories to consider when thinking through leadership within any environment. In an age where techniques and methods reign, leadership has more to do with the person himself, than with his methodology.
