    Let's Walk and Talk - Episode 3

Let's Walk and Talk - Episode 3During the creation of his book, there were many drafts. I listened towhat Cuba wanted to say and wrote it all down. Initially, the bookincluded many stories and discussions, then it was shortened a fewtimes to finally contain just what he and the pets really wanted to getacross. I also felt a sense of urgency in Cuba to “just get it done” andget it published.  In the meantime, the pets who had already passed over into the lightworlds also wanted to write a book. This book was about helping theirfolks come to terms with the loss of their beloved pet. We called it“Always Here” as they wanted to stress that in truth, they will alwaysstay with their family, and that they wanted to share ways to keep intouch with them. (“Always Here – When your Pet has passed away”)Cuba decided that one chapter in his book would also include achapter from “Always Here” as he wanted to give his people an all-round idea of the existence and experience of pets in this world. Wefinally finished the book and Cuba chose the title “We are Family !”because this is the sentiment he wanted to get across: We are allFamily – animals, people and all of nature. “All my relations” as FirstNations people call our connection to all of Nature. On the cover ofthe book is a photo of Cuba that I took – and when I look into his eyesin the photo, I see the soul that he is – wise, loving, caring, independent, funny – a real friend. We got the book ready in time togive to his folks for Christmas or New Year. Cuba called me especiallyto make sure that his family receive it at that time. (“We are Family –What your Pets really want you to know about them”) There are many more lessons Cuba taught me. I noticed how on ourwalks he seemed to be a bundle of love and sharing this witheverybody who came along and that in comparison I was morecontained. I asked him about his “trick” – how to walk in a crowd ofpeople without being affected by the energies around. He said to firsthave a ball of energy around the heart and then place an imaginarysphere of light all around the body and that once the sphere is in place,it was possible to shine out as much love and joy as I wanted from theheart without losing my energy. I could feel how this exercise openedmy heart and how I was able to be with people, shine my light and alsokeep my energy going. Thank you, Cuba ! For quite some time, when we went on our walks, I never heard Cubabark. When I heard him bark for the first time though, he sounded like a big dog, maybe like an Alsatian. As I mentioned earlier, when wewalked together, he felt like a tall man, walking beside me. So maybeit’s surprising to hear that Cuba is actually a Havanese, a relativelysmall dog – but with a big personality ! 😊 When you look into his eyes you can also see his big soul, full of love. I am so proud and grateful to know this amazing being who kept megoing in difficult times and made me happy again with his humour andjoy. I hope that I have been able to share my experiences with Cuba ina way that you can also meet him. He says that he invites everybodyto talk with him – wherever you are. May he be as good a friend toyou as he has been to me. As a friend of mine said when he heard metalk about Cuba and our friendship:  “Everybody should have a Cuba by their side !” by Christina Sieber  Cuba showed me that there are no limits as to what can be discussed with the animals – they love to talk about animals and their situation, but they also engage in conversations about our projects, problems, interests, love and life in general. He also wanted to stress how much animals love us, that they really feel what we feel and understand what we say and think and that they would like to be treated as equals. Animal Communication also helps me to talk with myself and others in a kinder way and to be understanding and more patient with everybody.

    Let's Walk and Talk - Episode 2

Let's Walk and Talk - Episode 2In fact, often it was Cuba who was taking me for a walk. I am verygrateful for his ongoing concern for me. Once I fell over in the snowand Cuba – who was usually lively and jumping around, discoveringthings – came and looked at me with concern. His eyes looking at mewere so soulful and caring that I was so surprised that for a moment Ididn’t feel the pain anymore. A good companion to have fun with andalso in misfortune.  Cuba also started helping me with my projects. I wanted to publish afriend’s poems and discussed every step with Cuba – he was the realeditor ! He didn’t just have ideas about the theme of the collection andfor the cover, but also gave clear directions for the timeline of doingthe layout, cover and uploading it to have the book printed. In thisway, the first book was ready for my friend’s birthday. A few morepoetry books followed, and finally a book with a poem for each day ofthe year. Cuba insisted that this book had to be created as well, as itwas going to be more meaningful to readers, almost like a daily oracleor companion. He said that these books were also preparing us for thebooks the pets wanted to write with me. I kept talking with Cuba, evenwhen I was at home, in front of the computer, but we also talked on ourwalks – we called it “Walk and Talk”. Usually we would talk “business”at the beginning of the walk – about books, other animals, other lifequestions – and then we would just walk and share a good time.  Cuba also helped me understand other animals, their issues and whatthey needed. I just asked him – with my voice or telepathically – andinside I either heard words or saw pictures, or got feelings or songs. I could say it was like being on the phone with somebody, but actually,he also sent me pictures or scenes from movies, so it was multi-dimensional, especially as he would also send me a feeling or remindme of an experience I had in a different context which would help meunderstand the present situation. The closest I can compare it with iswhen I’m talking with somebody where we are in the same place butnot looking at each other – a joyful understanding and easycommunication. Do you know the experience when you are togetherwith somebody and something happens around you - and you bothknow what the other one is thinking ? I get that with my brother a lot. That’s how it feels to me when I’m talking with Cuba – we just know.  Most conversations were started by me – I had a question or a problemto solve and Cuba had an idea how to deal with it. Sometimes hestarted talking with me – and one of these times was when he asked meto write a book with him. He said that he would like to let people knowwhat it was like to be somebody’s pet – and that many pets would liketheir families to know that their pets understand them too. One of themain topics was that he wished that people would know, really know, that their pets hear and understand everything their people say, thatthey know what we feel and think and how much this affects them too.Another topic was that he wished that people would see their pets asequals, and how by doing this their whole relationship would shift to apoint where it transformed even the people themselves.  But the one thing Cuba stressed most was that he wanted us to realizehow much our pets love us. He wrote a love poem for his people togive to them. I saw by their reaction that they received his love andintention in that moment. Cuba said that many animals and parts ofnature would love to give their blessings and good wishes to people. He said he hoped this would also show people how much they areloved – even more than they loved themselves. This was certainly hisbiggest wish: that people would learn to love themselves as much astheir pets loved them. According to him, this would make life so muchmore fun and exciting – for the families and for their pets too.

    Let's Walk and Talk - Episode 1

Let’s Walk and Talk - Episode 1 “He is called Cuba” my mum told me, “and my friend is grateful if yougo for walks with him as she is not going outside at the moment.” It wasthe beginning of Covid. I started talking with Cuba telepathically rightaway, introduced myself and asked him directly if he would like to goon walks with me. He said “yes” and looked very happy. “Anything else ?”– “Just be punctual !” I promised to be on time, even though I laterended up arriving around 5 – 10 minutes late for our morning walks –it seems Cuba already knew my ways from the start.  I didn’t know what to expect exactly, but when the door opened, I looked at the most beautiful, lovely and soulful dog I’ve ever seen. For me it was love at first sight. First, he just looked at me with a big smile, and then he happily charged towards me. His person was surprised – shesaid that Cuba seemed to treat me as if he knew me already. I didn’t tellher that we had already started talking together earlier, telepathically. The walks with Cuba were a joy. Once we got used to each other, I felt that we were very connected and I was very happy to have made a new friend. We also made many friends on our walks around forestand village, as Cuba smiled at the people, and many of them noticedhim and smiled back.  Cuba felt quite tall as a being. When we walked together, he felt a lottaller than me, almost 2 meters. I experienced him as a gentleman, verycourteous and funny too, and enjoying our walks together. I also sensedhis qualities of clarity and focus. We had many conversations on ourwalks, and as well as talking about what he enjoys and what he wouldlike to do, I soon discovered that I could tell Cuba everything, discussinterests and problems - and that he would always have good ideas. One of the first things he taught me was not to look at him as “just adog” – that instead he felt like an equal. He said that if I treated himlike that, everything would work out fine. I struggled with that at first, because I still had to guide him, tell him when to cross the road orwhich direction to go. But I made an inner shift and decided to see himas an equal, as a friend. I noticed that soon it was enough to nod in acertain direction and tell him inwardly where I wanted to go.Sometimes he looked at me when we got to a fork in the path – helooked right into my eyes. A nod and a sign with my eyes was enoughfor him to get the hint. I just remember the joy of being in a kind ofbubble with Cuba wherever we went.  I realized that Cuba was a great mentor too. When I wanted to help afriend, he told me clearly what to do and when, and how to overcomedifficulties. At every step or obstacle, we would discuss the options – andI knew that Cuba would always come up with a good solution – oftensomething I hadn’t even considered. This was one of the times where Iknew clearly that the information was coming from someone otherthan myself: because I had struggled to find a solution myself, but whentaking Cuba for a walk, things would become clear.
