Bible Read and Chill

I’m a very skeptical Christian but I want to grow closer to God. I believe one way to grow closer to Him is to know His word. Growing up, I went to church every so often but never read the Bible much. I know a few stories but not enough to confidently say that I understand who God is and what He wants for my life. My goal is to read the entire Bible page by page to gain a better understanding of what the Bible means to me while also sharing my readings with others who might be in the same place as me on their faith journey.
