    Can I Truly Trust God?//Exodus 3

Why does God make promises with His people? More importantly, are His promises trustworthy? Why can I truly, deeply rely on God's strength when I am weak?Moses felt all of these questions, and chose to step into obedience through apprehension. God calls us to big things, but never leaves our side. This episode highlights how God is a promise maker, and because of His nature, a promise keeper. Because God always keeps His promises, we can confidently obey His commands.

  2. 47

The Idol of Comfort//Inconvenient Obedience feat. Keilee Webb

Comfort zones can be good, but they can also hold us back. When we prioritize our comfort over God's commands, our disobedience prevents us from fully participating in covenant with Him. In this episode, I discuss difficult obedience with my good friend Keilee Webb. We take a look at Abrahams life and God's faithfulness to define what it means to be comfortably uncomfortable.

  3. 46

    The Idol of Relationships

One can can still idolize relationships while having a significant other, as well as without. This episode debriefs how we can idolize relationships during singleness, dating, and even breakups. Originally, this Q/A was a precursor to a similar episode, but as I recorded the two became one. I had so much fun filming this episode and answering all your questions about Christian dating such as: "Will God really give me a boyfriend when I least expect it?""How do I know if someone is equally yoked with me?""How do I handle relationship anxiety Biblically?""How do I prevent marriage from becoming an idol when surrounded by married couples?""How do I draw closer to God and keep my head up after rejection?"

  4. 45

The Idol of Living in the Future// First Seminary Semester Debrief

How can we be present during difficult phases of life? It is so tempting to desire a "fast-forward" button that lands in a more comfortable place. Here's the thing: Christians aren't called to be comfortable, we are called to pursue conformity into Christ's image and seek the Lord's goodness in every circumstance. In this episode, we dig into Philippians 3 and Jeremiah 29 to see how God taught His people to remain present during difficult times. (Also I debriefed my first semester of seminary, but that's not quite as important 😂)

  5. 44

The Idol of Control//feat. Stefany Spencer

Worldly control and Biblical control are two different things. The world tells us that control is having autonomy and authority, but interferes with relationships and wellbeing. Scripture highlights that control is living in the discipline and temperance from the Holy Spirit. Join me and my friend Stefany Spencer as we discuss what it truly means to have control in our lives!

  6. 43

  14. 35

    Our Creation for Covenant//Ephesians 1-2

We were created for relationship by a Father who pursues us and invites us to dwell with Him. Ephesians is one of my favorite epistles, and I love chapters 1-2 specifically as they highlight God's consistency and faithfulness throughout the old and new testaments. Join me as we discuss the context of Ephesians, the five Biblical covenants, and even some thoughts on predestination...

  15. 34

If you are struggling with the battle between your spirit and your flesh, this episode is for you!!
