Biblical Liberty: The Weaker Brother
We continue our series on Biblical Liberty and look at the doctrine of the Weaker Brother. In this doctrine, we find how Christian Liberty intersects Christian Charity and we also consider when the weaker brother may not be the weaker brother at all, but a legalist in the guise of the weaker brother. Romans 14.

Biblical Liberty: Things Indifferent (Adiaphora)
As we continue to investgate Liberty of Conscience, we come to a consideration of our liberty in matters indifferent. We search the Scripture to understand a right use and wrong use of things indifferent in our Christian life. Concrete examples regard even our use of alcohol, clothing, and entertainment as we seek to do all things to the glory of God. In addition, we also see how the categories of indifference cannot be used to invent ceremonies or rites that have religious significance, but instead, worship is strictly regulated by the Regulative Principle of Worship. 1 Corinthians 10:22-33.

Biblical Liberty: Liberty of Conscience
We continue our new series on Biblical Liberty and consider one of the great battlegrounds for the Christians' liberty - their conscience. We find that God alone is Lord of the Conscience and we are freed from the doctrines and commandments of men to have our conscience bound to Christ in His Word. Impositions upon conscience whether by church authorities or authorities in the state are to be (appropriately) resisted. Colossians 2:20-23

Biblical Liberty: Overview
We begin a new series on the doctrine of Biblical Liberty. In recent history, there has been a question of what liberty the Church and individual Christians possess. These are not new questions. We will begin a series to consider the liberty of the individual Christian in view of the gospel, the spiritual liberty of the Church with Christ as her King, and even the liberty of the State to serve the King of Kings. Throughout the history of the Church, these questions have had to be answered Scripturally, often at the cost of the martyrs' lives. We will begin with an overview of the specific freedom that Jesus gives the Christian, the Church, and the Commonwealth. Galatians 5:1-13.
