Young & Parents
A recent study shows that the millennial generation of fathers are more present to their kids than any other generation ever in history. Why is that?Endometriosis affects approximately 10% of women worldwide! Why does no one talk about this? We do.We became parents in our mid-20s and in this conversation we talk about the fear of becoming parents when we found out. We talk about the illusion of control that surfaced after realizing that we had the responsibility of parenting. We talk about our deep desire to raise up the next generation in a beautiful way and the many ways we fall short and need grace in that effort every day. We speak about the trigger phrase that is “gentle parenting”, and what that looks like for us in light of breaking generational curses. Not a parent? We also spoke about being spiritual mothers and fathers, so even if you do not have kids of your own, this episode is for you as you pour into people in your life! We are not experts in parenting, we are just young parents that are having Brave talks about our experience so far and we hope it’s helpful!Brave step- look at your sphere of influence and consider pouring into a younger person. Become a spiritual parent/mentor or a more present parent.
