    Your Internal Field Trip

    The super exciting thing about the first part of January this year is that the current astrology gives us space to reflect and release the old energies of 2023 that you don’t want to bring into 2024. It offers support in turning over a new leaf and gives clarity in envisioning the life that you can spend the new few years living towards.My intention today is to facilitate a 2023 reflection and release journal inner field trip. This is a massive catharsis and then we will move on to a 2024 creative review.  I acknowledge that these are two very separate energies so I will be doing them in two separate podcasts, but know one is an exhale and one is an inhale, together they are one breath. For today, you will need about an hour of uninterrupted time. Ripping off the rose-colored glasses.I want to offer an acknowledgment of the level of astrological intensity we have experienced and will continue to experience over the next few years. You know this already. I unite with you in the mission to stay as conscious as you can, to witness the unfolding of time, and create create create. Your creative work is the medicine to realms beyond our own.In other words, YOU being in the act of creation matters.For today, perhaps gather things that make you comfortable and then set up your space to best support focus, grab your trusted journal or set yourself up with some paper and a pen. The goal is to create a safe sensory space, whatever that means for you. To some that means warm candles, sweat incense, and powerful sacred objects, to others, it may mean small disposable representations of the elements. Trust your first impulse in reaching for what feels right in your body. Pause the podcast to tend to your space.AND we are back and WE BEGINClose your eyes and breathe deep, complete exhales and soft full inhales. At any time you may need to pause the podcast to give yourself processing time or time to journal, this is encouraged. Now bring awareness back to your breath and to your heart center, imagine you are breathing in and out from your heart. Expanding and relaxing. Inhale/ExhaleI ask today, how are you? How is your mental body, emotional body, physical body, and spiritual body?Inhale/ExhaleYou must get under the radar screen of your own defenses and reflect on your life. Inhale/ExhaleAt this moment, commit to practicing softness. Grab your journal and pen, and maybe a comforting drink, and title your page 2023. If you created a sigil for 2023 you can include a little doodle of that also.I ask what must you grieve from 2023? Practice softness & surrender to your grief so that it feels held.What broke your heart? what does the heartbreak look/feel/sound/taste/small like?Invite the nervous system to savor & digest the new experience.Inhale/ExhaleUnder the banner of 2023, take a journey into the hard and the beautiful and answer this question: "If I am not doing the work I'm intending to do, why am I not doing it?"Inhale/ExhaleIt’s time to put away the past so we can move forward.Release the pity and shame and all the other s**t. I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you. Inhale/ExhaleForgive your life and your lifemates, forgive yourself for your failings and failures It is time to release stored-up negativity and disappointment back to the mother. We can support our own creating by wholeheartedly reflecting in a loving way at our own humanity and walk in the equivalent of living forgiveness to let go of my stored up emotional blocks.Inhale/ExhaleWriting prompt:   "Am I willing to believe that my creative efforts matter, at least to me?"  You have to make a pact with yourself to act "as if" you matter, even if you have abundant evidence to suggest that you do not matter.  Unless you can convince yourself in a heartfelt way that painting a painting or doing whatever else you are choosing to do matters, you will have no motivational juice to create.  The question to ask is, If you can't get a "yes" to that question, you need to stop everything and have a heart-to-heart chat with yourself. Inhale/ExhaleSit with our core light and enjoy the absurdity and gift of your work.Remember and check in with your "four bodies" on a daily basis. claim your highest frequency Inhale/ExhaleAfter The Ritual: If you can, plan a gentle activity to release & integrate the experience: a salt bath, a nap, a walk in nature, a cuddle with a pet or pal.In our next podcast we will review the astrology of 2024, and consider how can you pre-plan supporting yourself through major astrological themes that are afoot. Themes like HEALTHY BOUNDARIES (giving/taking)RETURNING TO YOUR HEART CENTERWORKING WITH AND DESPITE YOUR DEEPEST WOUNDSTABILIZING amid SHARP EDGES AND ANGER (Is it time to adapt, adjust, accommodate or is it time for the right action?)
