Fr. Fernando Ayala is currently one of the youngest priests serving in the Archdiocese of Boston, yet despite his youth he is most certainly blessed with wisdom well beyond his years. In this episode we talk with him about growing up in El Salvador, how he came to the United States, how he came to discern his vocation, how his faith in Christ became his anchor along the way and throughout all the challenges he has faced in his life, and more.

In this episode we sit down with Joe Jasinski, a seminarian in his fourth year of studying to be a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston. As we hear Joe’s story we talk about faith, sports, discernment, and the rewards of ministry. Ordained in the midst of the chaotic 2020 pandemic, Fr Denis Nakkeeran talks with us about his experience of priestly ministering during that difficult time. In this episode we talk about how his desire to have his questions about faith and morality answered led him to seek answers. In doing so he not only found answers but also a deep relationship with God. Now, he has a chance to share the fruit of all of this with us, as well as with the seminarians of St John’s Seminary in Brighton, MA where he is a faculty member.

As one who has deeply benefitted in his relationship with God through both the Eastern and Western traditions of the Catholic Church, Mark shares these graces with us.
