Capistrano Connections

As spiritual beings having a mortal experience, God designed this life to revolve around connections. Our Heavenly Parents want us to interact with, rely on, and relate to the people around us. Sharing our stories is one way we can connect.

  1. 5

    Jan Pardonnet

Maybe we should call Jan "The Dog Whisperer."  Since this is audio only, you can't see the dogs, including the neighbor's dog, Teton, hanging out, making himself at home.  Teton wakes up most mornings and makes a beeline to Jan.  Sometimes she has four or five neighborhood pups living their best life at the Pardonnet Palace, and often, they have sleepovers!  Also, after the recording we checked FamilySearch and discovered that "American" Jan is also Canadian, English, Scottish, and Irish. Wondering if it was the Irish lass, Catherine, who converted the family to Catholicism?  Enjoy!

  2. 4

    Craig Bewsey

Long-time Capistrano Ward member and Vietnam veteran, Craig Bewsey, recounts a little of his history, adventures, and lessons learned - from box boy, to Vietnam, a life-changing art appreciation class, and a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

  3. 3

    Grandpa Rod Hopkin

Get a tiny glimpse into the early world of creating hardware memory, blowing up airplanes, and a pet turkey the family just called, "Rod's!"

  4. 2

    Hot For Teacher

Enjoy this interview with Sister Kathy Sheldon!

  5. 1

    Verla Sorensen

Enjoy this conversation with Sister Verla Sorensen
