  1. 116

    A Disciple-Making Church

This message in the series looks at Jesus' command to make disciples, considers how a disciple is defined, and what the process of discipleship looks like.

  2. 115

    An Outwardly-Focused Church

In this message, we'll start with Jesus' instructions to reach lost people with the gospel and consider ways the church sometimes drifts from that mission and becomes inwardly-focused. We'll look at Biblical principles and consider practical applications for staying focused on the Great Commission and keeping the main thing as the main thing.

  3. 114

    A Bible-Believing Church

At The Carpenter's Christian Church, the Bible is the foundation of all we do - to show love, to share truth, and to shape lives. This week we will explore why the Bible is so amazing and how we can know it truly is the absolute Word of God.

  4. 113

    A Multi-Generational Church

Having multiple generations that make up your church family is both a blessing and a challenge. We need to seek to understand and appreciate our differing perspectives and how each generation has been shaped by their life experiences. Rather than allowing our varying perspectives to cause frustration or division, we seek to lean into the strengths of each generation and ensure that the torch of faith is passed to each rising generation.

  5. 112

    An Independent Christian Church

This message will look at the roots of the Restoration Movement, which gave rise to the Independent Christian Church. We'll consider the Biblical principles behind the main beliefs and objectives of the movement.

  6. 111

    This Is Not The End

In this message, we'll consider how Jesus' crucifixion was not the end of what God was doing. And, because Christ has been raised from the dead, your worst mistakes are not the end of your story. Finally, your death is not the end of your existence.

  7. 110

    Thirty Pieces of Silver

In this message, we will consider how a man who travelled with Jesus, heard His teachings, and saw the miracles could end up betraying Him. We'll consider Judas' flaw and the steps that led to his fall. Finally, we'll consider if we may have our own "thirty pieces of silver" that compete for our allegiance to Jesus as Lord of our lives.

  8. 109

    It's All in God's Hands

In this final message of our Daniel series, we will look at what the Bible reveals is still to come for the Jewish people and all of us as we await Christ's return.

  9. 108

    Daniel's Prayer

In this message, we'll consider what we can learn from Daniel's prayer life and consider the importance of prayer in spiritual warfare. We'll also look at an amazing prophecy that Daniel received as a result of his prayer.

  10. 107

    Back to the Future

This message takes a look at Daniel chapters 7 and 8. Part of the message looks BACK at the prophecies that have been fulfilled and part of the messages looks FORWARD to what we believe is still to come.

  11. 106

    The Writing on the Wall

In this message, we'll look at the account of how God wrote a message on the wall to inform the Belshazzar that his time in power was coming to an end. We'll consider concepts like excessive pride and sacrilege as we apply this text to our own lives. We'll also consider the role of the United States in Bible prophecy.

  12. 105

    It Was All A Dream

In this message, we’ll examine the account of Elisha in 2 Kings 3 and the call to trust God in the middle of crisis. We’ll connect Elisha’s obedience, the command to dig trenches in the desert, and the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to see how real faith is revealed in hardship, how worship reshapes our perspective, and what it means to burn the plows and live with an ‘even if’ faith.

  13. 104

    Faith in the Fire

In this message, we'll examine the account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and their courageous defiance of the order to bow before a statue of Nebuchadnezzar. We'll take a broader look at Christian persecution — past, present, and future — and God's faithfulness and provision.

  14. 103

    Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

This message will examine Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream that foretold the rise and fall of major civilizations from world history and points toward the rise of a final empire before Christ's return and the establishment of His eternal kingdom.

  15. 102

    Dare to be Different

In this message, we'll look at how Daniel and his companions remained set apart from the Babylonian efforts to indoctrinate them and consider how that parallels our need to live as temporary travelers in a culture that is often hostile to our faith.

  16. 101

    The Baptism of the Spirit

In this message, we will trace how John the Baptist, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul each emphasized the importance of the Holy Spirit in our salvation and sanctification. We'll consider what it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

  17. 100

    The Spirit-Filled Church

In this message, we'll consider the primary focus of various churches and the strengths and weaknesses of each. Then we'll consider the power of bringing all three together in one Spirit-filled, evangelistic church that is focused upon proclaiming the truth of God.

  18. 99

    Listening to God

This message will consider the distractions that can often hinder us in hearing God's voice and discuss some keys to recognizing His voice and gaining clarity.

  19. 98

    Fasting

In this message, we'll look at fasting as a means of consecrating ourselves to God, humbling ourselves before Him, and seeking His face.

  20. 97

What Is Needed Most In Our Lives

John takes us through what we long for the most. The main text, 2 Samuel 9, will allow us to see exactly what we need most in our lives.

  21. 96

    The Incarnation

In this message, we will consider the miracle that Jesus was both fully divine and fully human. And we'll consider why Jesus left the glory of heaven to come to earth.

  22. 95

    The Virgin Birth

In this message, we will consider the miracle of a pregnancy conceived by the Holy Spirit and the importance of the doctrine of the virgin birth.

  23. 94

    Angelic Messengers

In this message, we will consider the role of angels in the Christmas account and also in our lives today.

  24. 93

    God's Will for Your Relationships

In this sermon, we will consider the different circles of friendship we each have in our lives and the importance of having together right in each circle.

  25. 92

    God's Will for Your Family

In this message, we'll look at what the Bible has to say about the importance of the family in a society. Specifically, we'll talk about the marriage commitment, training up children, and teaching respect.

  26. 91

    God's Will for Your Finances

In this message, we'll consider what the Bible has to say about principles for making and wisely managing money.

  38. 79

    Driven to Make Disciples

In this message, we will look at the difference between a convert and a disciple. We will see that, in order to fulfill the Great Commission, we must be intentional about discipling new Christians to becoming fully-trained disciples who make disciples.
