Cats Never Die

My cat William (a girl) was my soulmate. We lived together for a decade on three continents and in five countries. She was the only thing I truly had to call home... and then she was hit by a car. I was an atheist, not spiritual at all, until I lost the most important thing in my life. Because my brain could not process that she no longer existed, I set out to convince myself that she still does, somewhere, somehow. This is a continuation of my spiritual journey, at first born of emotional desperation that has now fundamentally altered the way I see the world.
