We hear it often “Jesus kicked it with sinners”, but did he? When we hear “kick it” it gives a connotation that he was actively engaging in whatever illicit behavior sinners were in engaging at that given time in order to “win a soul” and that simple isn’t the case. In this episode I briefly touch on a viral topic that has taken the internet by storm while properly breaking down the referred scripture that is often misused and taken out of context when attempting to endorse the perspective that “Jesus kicked with sinners”

As Christians our stance is always challenged when it comes to celebrating Christmas due to it being a “pagan” holiday. In this brief special edition of Christ Based Everything, I revisit my childhood and express how my mother literally put the Christ in Christmas by redefining it in our household solely making Christ the center of it.
