Come and See 2026: Discovering Jesus Through the Eucharist

The table is transformed by joy. Christ is alive and on this Easter Day we return to the beginning. 

Silence holds the world. We wait between death and life, trusting that God is still at work.

On the cross, love is poured out completely.

At the table, Jesus gives bread, wine, and a new commandment. Love becomes the mark of all who follow him.

Jesus speaks of life coming through loss. The path to fruitfulness leads through surrender and trust.

An act of extravagant love fills the room. In this tender moment, we glimpse devotion that holds nothing back.

Jesus cleanses the temple, restoring its purpose. God longs for a people shaped by prayer, justice and worship.

One short phrase in the Bible catches the whole rhythm of the Christian life, the rhythm of the Eucharist and the whole rhythm of our discipleship” “to be with him and to be sent out”. The final in our series this Lent - Come and see how it all ends.

God promises to be faithful forever. At the table, we remember that God’s mercy is sure, and his covenant will not fail.

Jesus invites the weary and burdened to rest. In Holy Communion, he offers gentleness, renewal, and peace for our souls.

In Christ, our worship joins with heaven itself. At the table, we gather not alone but with angels, saints, and the whole company of heaven.

Isaiah glimpses the glory of God and is undone by it. In worship, holiness reveals both our need and God’s transforming grace.

Moses is called by name and invited to draw near. Yet this nearness also demands reverence, as God reveals himself in holiness and fire.

God comes near in hospitality and shared meals. Today we reflect on the sacredness of welcome and encounter.

In every service of Holy Communion, the congregation pray together the Lord’s Prayer. What wisdom does this hold for us today? Come and see...

The call is simple and profound: remain. In abiding, joy grows and life flourishes.

Life flows from being rooted in Christ. Apart from him, we cannot bear lasting fruit.

Jesus transforms the ordinary into abundance. Where might he be doing that in your life today?

God’s vision is one of joy, unity, and life beyond death. This meal points us toward heaven itself.

Wisdom invites us to the table. God offers nourishment for both mind and soul.

Long before the Last Supper, God was preparing these signs. Today we glimpse the deep roots of our worship.

As we take the cup of wine in Holy Communion we are remembering again our willingness to share in the suffering of Christ, in laying down our lives as part of what it means to live as a disciple. But here is the paradox and it is a paradox which takes us right to the centre of our humanity.

To receive Christ is to abide in him. Today we reflect on the promise of life, now and forever.

Jesus offers himself for everyone. His gift reaches further than we can imagine.

Jesus does not merely give bread, he is the bread. In him we find welcome, satisfaction and life eternal.

God’s gifts are new each day. We are invited to return again and again to receive what we truly need.

In the wilderness, God provides daily bread. Today we reflect on our dependence on God’s faithful provision.

Jesus invites us to seek more than what satisfies briefly. He offers food that leads to eternal life.

Our world is living through such difficult times. We face immense challenges in this generation which affect our confidence and our mental health, they sap life and hope, especially from the young. We need more than physical bread alone. The world needs desperately to hear again this good news of new life. 

From the cross, Jesus declares victory. Forgiveness is complete and the way to God is opened.

Jesus gives his life willingly, out of love. Today we reflect on what it means to be known and cherished by him.

Jesus suffers not by accident but with purpose. His wounds bring forgiveness, healing, and peace.

God himself provides what we cannot. This ancient story points us toward the cross and the depth of God’s love.

The story of deliverance begins with a meal. Today we remember how God brings freedom through sacrifice and grace.

With a single sentence, John the Baptist reveals the heart of the gospel. Jesus comes to take away the sin of the world, including ours.

The image of the Lamb is a surprising one, of weakness and vulnerability. Jesus is the Son of God - but this Son of God does not come in power and strength and glory as the world understands these things. This is the mystery

The risen Jesus still feeds his friends. He invites us again today into fellowship, restoration, and joy.

Jesus kneels to serve. In this simple, powerful act, we see the heart of the one who hosts us at his table.

The Lord is not only our shepherd but our host. Today we reflect on the table God prepares for us, even in difficult places.

God’s invitation is for everyone, especially those with empty hands. At this table, grace is free and all are welcome.

When we are exhausted and weary, God does not rebuke us, he feeds us. Holy Communion is strength for the long journey.

Out of scarcity, Jesus brings abundance. Today we see how Christ feeds all who come to him and leaves nothing and no one behind.

This week we reflect on Jesus, our servant and host. In every Eucharist, he welcomes us, feeds us, and meets us where we are. We begin with these two simple pictures: of Jesus on the hillside and Jesus in the upper room.

Jesus longs to share this meal with his friends. Even in the shadow of suffering, his desire is for love, fellowship, and hope.

At the heart of this meal is forgiveness. Each time we share the cup, we remember that Christ has offered his life so we may be made new.

Jesus takes ordinary bread and speaks extraordinary words. Today we begin to explore how Holy Communion becomes a sign of God’s self-giving love.
