Doctrine & Covenants 21-25 • The Symphony Of Church Leadership • Come Follow Me Leadership Insights
“The song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.” (D&C 25:12)Just as a choir and orchestra unite their voices and instruments in harmony, the Church of Jesus Christ is organized to bring forth a beautiful, collective offering to the Lord. The prophet, like a conductor, understands the Composer’s vision and guides us to sing and play our part in unity. Each voice matters, each instrument has a role, and together, we create something far greater than we could alone.📖 Key Insights:🔹 The Lord delights in the harmonious offering of His people (D&C 25:12).🔹 The prophet, like a conductor, helps bring order, balance, and unity to the performance.🔹 Every calling and contribution—no matter how small—is essential to the whole.🔹 True unity is not sameness but complementary harmony, just as a choir blends different parts into one resonant sound. As we each strive to “sing the song of redeeming love” (Alma 5:26) through our service, faith, and discipleship, we bring joy to the Lord and blessings upon ourselves.🎶 How do you see this analogy in your Church service?
