In this episode of the Islam Honors Women series, we dive into the life of Khadijah (r.a.) — not just as the beloved wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, but as a successful, respected businesswoman who managed trade, hired agents, and led with intelligence and dignity. We explore how her example challenges common cultural beliefs that discourage women from working, and how Islam itself never restricted her ambition. With Qur’anic references, we separate culture from religion, reminding ourselves not to label something halal or haram without knowledge (Qur’an 16:116).This episode is a reminder that Islam uplifted women from the very beginning, and Khadijah (r.a.) stands as a timeless symbol of faith, leadership, and empowerment.
