Living Within God's Will - Donnie Williams
Humanity continually chooses pride and self-direction over God's command, leading to organized rebellion and confusion, just as they did when they built a tower to make a name for themselves. We are meant to live inside God's will by trusting what He said and submitting to His authority, a foundation that is fully restored through Jesus Christ. When we ignore this, our own ambition, like building a successful life for our own name, will ultimately leave us empty and on the wrong foundation. Thanks for listening! A Better Promise - Dom Jenkins
God's makes a covenant with Noah in Genesis 9-10, where a rainbow preserves humanity from destruction, setting the stage for a better promise. 4 Words That Can Kill Your Faith
The serpent's temptation in Genesis 3, which questioned God's word, led to humanity's choice of self-rule over divine authority, immediately producing shame. This shame caused Adam and Eve to hide and attempt to fix themselves, but God pursued them. God provided a covering through the promised Savior, triumphing over the sin and shame that had entered the world. Thanks for listening! Owned by God - Donnie Williams
Genesis 2 reveals God's care in forming humanity with intention, authority, and boundaries, emphasizing that God owns what He forms, not granting bodily autonomy but stewardship. This design includes work as worship and the complementary nature of men and women in marriage, with the final state of unashamed exposure being the pre-sin ideal that is restored through being "in Christ," where our lives are hidden from shame. Thanks for listening! If God Made it, He Rules it | Donnie Williams
Genesis is clear that God is the Creator, so He is the ultimate Authority. Humanity's origin story settles the question of authority, identity, and morality by confronting the lie that "people define reality." The high point of creation is mankind, made as God's "image bearers," which assigns them unearned worth and establishes that identity and purpose are received from the Creator, not invented by the individual. Thanks for listening! You are gifted—not because of what you do, but because of who God is. Many Christians are walking around with their spiritual gifts "still in the box." In this message, we explore what it means to be a disciple of Jesus living at the crossroads of faith and culture. We talk about how to be grounded in Scripture, stand boldly against opposition, and compassionately confront the idols of our modern world. Endurance in The Mission - Donnie Williams
In Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas confront opposition and idolatry with courage and the message of Jesus Christ. This sermon explores how early Christians were convinced of Jesus' truth and boldly proclaimed it, even when it led to division. We'll examine how miracles validated the message, but salvation was the true miracle, and how modern-day idols can leave us feeling empty. Discover why boldness in sharing the Gospel isn't optional, how hardship is a necessary part of discipleship, and how God is the one who truly opens doors of faith and makes disciples. What Stands in the Way? - Donnie Williams
For 30 years, the world was flipped upside down. The Gospel spread through the Roman Empire like wildfire. What started with a handful of men and women in Jerusalem—fearful, outnumbered, and under pressure—became an unstoppable force that no king, no persecution, and no cultural opposition could contain. This was the beginning of the Church. And it wasn’t built on comfort, convenience, or compromise. It was built on bold faith, unshakable conviction, and the power of the Holy Spirit. These believers didn’t sit on the sidelines. They didn’t wait for someone else to step up. They risked everything to proclaim one message: Jesus is Lord. And they changed the world. This series walks through the book of Acts, not just as history but as marching orders for today. The same Holy Spirit that filled Peter at Pentecost, sent Paul to the nations, and empowered the early Church to stand firm is the same Spirit working in us right now.So here’s the question: What are you doing to change the world with your faith?Acts isn’t just a record of what God did—it’s a blueprint for what He’s still doing. The Church was never meant to be safe, silent, or stagnant. It was meant to advance. To preach. To make disciples. To push back darkness. And that means you. Your faith. Your life. Your mission. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” ' Acts 1:4-5'Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”(Acts 1:9-11)

To find out more, visit www.devotedcity.com!Scripture:On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii[e] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:25-37)Chapters:0:00-0:33 - Introduction0:33-4:48 - A Story from Kenya4:48-7:26 - ACTIONABLE Love7:26-11:12 - The Good Samaritan11:12-13:05 - When Your Head Gets Ahead of Your Heart13:05-16:19 - Why Samaritan?16:19-20:11 - Compassion Embraces Every Opportunity20:11-21:18 - Who is Your Neighbor?21:18-23:30 - How To Show Compassion23:30-26:16 - Make Compassion Your Passion26:16-29:09 - God Honors Your Compassion29:09-30:04 - Are you Marked by Compassion?30:04-31:43 - Prayer + Watch More

So he called him in and asked him, "What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer." The manager said to himself, "What shall I do now? My master is taking away my job. I’m not strong enough to dig, and I’m ashamed to beg—I know what I’ll do so that, when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into their houses." So he called in each one of his master’s debtors. He asked the first, "How much do you owe my master?" “Nine hundred gallons of olive oil," he replied. The manager told him, "Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it four hundred and fifty." Then he asked the second, "And how much do you owe?" “A thousand bushels of wheat," he replied. He told him, "Take your bill and make it eight hundred.’' The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.'"(Luke 16:1-13)“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”(Hebrews 4:13) "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us."(Romans 12:6, NIV)"What do you have that you did not receive?"(1 Corinthians 4:7, NIV)"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."(Matthew 6:21, NIV)

Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, ‘This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.’ Jesus replied, 'They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.' ’We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,’ they answered. ’Bring them here to me,’ he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over."(Matthew 14:13-20)

His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.’”(John 9:1-3)"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.”(Exodus 20:5)"After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. ‘Go,’ he told him, ‘wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (this word means ‘Sent’). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."(John 9:6-7)"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."(Romans 5:8)"His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, ‘Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?’ Some claimed that he was. Others said, ‘No, he only looks like him.’ But he himself insisted, ‘I am the man.’”(John 9:8-9)"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"(2 Corinthians 6:14)"Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. ‘He put mud on my eyes, and I washed, and now I see,’ the man replied. Some of the Pharisees said, ‘This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.’"(John 9:14-16)"They still did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight until they sent for the man’s parents. ‘Is this your son?’ they asked. ‘Is this the one you say was born blind? How is it that now he can see?’ ‘We know he is our son,’ the parents answered, ‘and we know he was born blind. But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.’ His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who had already decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. That was why his parents said, ‘He is of age; ask him.’ A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. ‘Give glory to God by telling the truth,’ they said. ‘We know this man is a sinner.’ He replied, ‘Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!’”(John 9:18-25)"To this they replied, ‘You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!’ And they threw him out."(John 9:34) "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also."(John 15:18-20)"Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, ‘Do you believe in the Son of Man?’‘Who is he, sir?’ the man asked. ‘Tell me so that I may believe in him.’Jesus said, ‘You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.’ Then the man said, ‘Lord, I believe,’ and he worshiped him.”(John 9:35-38)
