No major new disruptions are starting this week, and some long-running headaches are finally wrapping up. Detours Ending February 1st 97 Yonge Bus - The sewer work detour near St. Clair Station is done! No more rerouting through Rosehill, Avoca, and Pleasant Boulevard. 20 Cliffside Bus - After months of road work detours since November, this route is finally back to normal. Late-Night Alerts 501 Queen Streetcar - Taking a detour through Parliament and Dundas East between 9 PM and 3 AM (January 26-31) Line 1 Subway - Early closure at 11 PM from Finch to Eglinton, Monday through Thursday. Shuttle buses will be running. If you've been dealing with those Yonge or Cliffside detours, relief is almost here. Night owls, just plan ahead for those late-night changes! What's Ending Several detours are wrapping up just in time for 2026: Queen Street streetcars (501, 301, 503) return to their normal route near Broadview after water pipe work finishes 55 Warren Park bus goes back to regular streets after road construction 29C and 329 Dufferin buses resume their full routes past Exhibition Place New Year's Eve Special Service Heading downtown to celebrate? Here's what changes near the waterfront: The 19 Bay, 121, and 114 Queens Quay buses will take different routes The 511 Bathurst streetcar heads to Union Station via Queens Quay instead of Exhibition Place Express buses on Bathurst and Sherbourne will run to help you get from the waterfront back to subway stations after midnight New Year's Day Note The 29C and 329 buses will turn around early again on January 1st due to a fun run at Exhibition Place.
