MEET ROSS GIPSON I met Ross Gipson through one of Sunny and the Blackpack’s live shows on October 13th, 2022. That night Sunny had so many amazing guests on and it was just a really cool segment. One of the guests was Ross Gipson. Ross performed on Sunny’s show that night and all I can say is that I was blown away. His performance was pitch perfect! He wrote a simple song that made the whole room quiet and pay attention. That my friends is a performer! I can guarantee that if Ross were to play live at a venue that the audience would not talk through his performance.  But I have to say is that I feel a little embarrassed because I stated I would buy Ross’s music off of i-Tunes and play it on my show, then Sunny was kind enough to announce it. Low and BEHOLD. I go to i-tunes and find that I had already purchased Ross’s Song called Picture On Your page on October 3rd.  Turns out that Ross had already submitted his song to may station and I sent him an approval letter. So my lame made a Tik Tok video with a lame excuse of how I deal with hundreds of submissions. LOL!!

  Awestin The Pilot  You have got to meet Awestin The Pilot or at least follow him on Tik Tok.  I had the privilege to have Awestin on my podcast called Discussions recently. Awestin is definitely a one of a kind talent on land and in the air. You can say that Awestin’s music is a passion project and a very talented one at that. Awestin has since decided to take a break from social media so he can focus on his credentials as a pilot. As we see in many cases when it comes to music and fame,  when fame starts to rise, it becomes a little overbearing and you got to just sit back for a minute and strategize. Especially when it results in connecting with the right people.   

Souls Worn Thin Will Stenner of Discover YOU RADIO discusses music and how Souls Worn Thin was able to obtain the licensing rights of Nirvana's popular song titled Breed.    Working Class with a punk sensibility  Souls Worn Thin is the contrivance of former Deepwater guitarist Stephen Wayne.  Melodic rock/punk simmered in the grungy footprints of the Puget Sound.  While SWT may not fit neatly into a single genre, they deliver an almost tangibly NW feel that vacillates between aggressive and cheeky.  SWT offers a scathing rebuke of manufactured division permeating society with the same ferocity they rebuke craft beer.  A three piece (for now), SWT drummer Josh White (formerly of Lit End) is a heavy hitting all out beast on the kit.  Guitarist turned bass player Cody Sanders (formerly of The Stravinsky Riots) came into the fold about ten minutes before Souls Worn Thin headed to Magic Mix studio to record their debut album “Kill Your T.V.”  The lost year of 2020 for music in the Pac NW turned out to be a gift for the newly formed band.  Whilst the venues were on lock-down, Souls Worn Thin was busy working on their first album.  Named after the title track, “Kill Your T.V.” was released on September 15th, 2021.  The local scene has a heavy influence on the guys.  They try to get out to as many other local band's shows as often as they can.  The scene took quite a beating during the last garbage sauce of a year; it's important to go to the shows, buy that band's t shirt, and over-tip your bartender.  This freshman offering is energetic, lyrically biting but snarky, and messy but motivated.  The guys are already fleshing out the early stages of their next album which they plan to record back at Magic Mix Studios with the incomparable Daum Duo.   Album released online Sept. 15th  Stephen Wayne  Guitar, vocals,  Past Bands/Projects include DeepWater, Breaking Valhalla, and Stephen Wayne Solo Project  Cody Sanders  Bass, guitar, Back up Vocals  Past Bands/ Projects include The Stravinsky Riots and Phood  Josh White –  Drums  Past Bands/ Projects include Lit End and AKA and The Heart Hurt Goods

Keith Lyle was born and raised on the mean streets of Chicago. Well... It was the suburbs, but it was still tough. His house was filled with the loud, loving tirades of his family. Having been immersed in a 2 parent home, the yelling never stopped. Because of this, he had a difficult time fitting in at school.  Realizing that making people laugh is truly a gift that keeps on giving, Keith began to develop his strong sense of humor.  Keith's quick wit and topical material take you from the front page to inside his head, and the depth of his family's dysfunctions.  He has been in several commercials and TV shows, and films. His biggest role to date was having 4 lines in the blockbuster movie "The Hangover". He may have had more screen time as a dead body on CSI, but hey- it's 4 lines in a better movie than Tom Hanks made that year. He also has roles in the upcoming releases "Holding Lucid" directed by John Bizarre and "A Tribute to Fluffy" directed by Micah Cyrus.  Keith was honored to be selected as the feature act for headliner Don Barnhart. In the summer of 2012, Keith made his 1st trip overseas to entertain the troops in Kuwait. In 2013, he went to Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Jordan, Spain, Portugal and Greece on 2 separate trips in the "Don Barnhart All Star Comedy Tour" for Armed Forces Entertainment. He went overseas again in October 2014 & August of 2016. Keith is one of the House Emcees at Jokesters Comedy Club and a regular performer at Delirious Comedy Club, both in Las Vegas.  He has also hosted a week each for the popular websites Tweet the Joke and Dear Comic and had the most online votes in the Improv's "Up Yours Contest in 2012. Keith is active on social media with over 85,000 Twitter followers, and countless friends on Facebook, Instagram and Google +. Markus J Markus J. became a part of Discover YOU RADIO's online radio station's playlist on February 2nd 2022 with his single called True Love in which he has written to his wife. True Love is part of an album titled From The Beginning.  From the Beginning is a collection of songs recorded in closets, offices, garages and anywhere we could put a microphone. The songs are a little rough and that is okay it is where my recordings started and although they are not as good as the new stuff I look back at them fondly. MUSKEG MUDSUCK Muskeg Mudsuck fell in love with the blues after reading Led Zeppelin liner notes, but it was a punk rock band called the Gun Club that turned him on to Mississippi Delta Blues. He's been enthralled with it ever since he first heard Johnny Shines. Over the years, he's been exposed to a lot of other music, and what comes out is this unique blend of sounds that can only be described as "Rock N Roll". TOY DYNAMITE Toy Dynamite has a sound that ranges from alt country to indie folk, art pop to shoe gaze and the blues, they never quite know what you're going to get. Their debut EP, "Sour Sugar," was released in 2022 and is a perfect example of their eclectic style. It was the night of January 20th 2022 and I was tired, I was on my Tik Tok live feed about to close out and in comes Shawn Connors out of curiosity seeing that I was live, he decided to check out it out. Now before that Shawn had seen one of my Tik Tok videos on his For You page which pretty much was the video that put me on the Tik Tok map. Still In The Fight was formed in May of 2020 By Gary "Goose" Kreisher and Dan "Bayonet" Musselman. Goose served who are both veterans of the US Army. Goose went to school for recording and sound as well as photo and film, so all the audio of Still In The Fight and Videos are done by his expertise. Bayonet is a versatile musician who is a of a drummer and guitarist. In January of 2022 they added a second guitarist to their ranks, Rich Forbman.  The name, "Still In The Fight" fits the members well well and was an easy choice for the band name. First, being two of them are military veterans. Secondly, being a bunch of old Metal Heads still doing what they love to do. Just a group of old dudes who don't know the word quit.  Over the short time that Still In The Fight has been together they have gone through several other musicians due to various reasons, which has prevented them from doing any shows together at this point. Another set back was that Bayonet had lower back surgery in July and he is still having complications of that.  So for now, we are just doing studio work.  In early 2021 we released two singles to place us on the map while we continues to work on a full length 12 song album. The album titled "Deceptive" was released in October 2021.  They are already working on several other songs for a second release pushing for sometime in 2022.

Frankie M. has created a buzz around his hometown known as Hoboken New Jersey. With his new book coming out titled Events of an Ordinary Life, Frankie is about to make even a bigger familiarity around the world.  Frankie is a multi award winning entertainer who not only has won awards but has an actual award named after him called the Frankie M.
